Ok, so I was on holidays at my trailer park this week and I met this guy I hadn't seen before. He had one of those gamepacks that hold a lot of games. Some of those games were ruby, sapphire, leaf green and emerald. The ruby, leaf green and emerald were fine, just like normal. However, when we started playing the sapphire, we immediately noticed something was wrong. Powerful legendaries were roaming around in the wild everywhere! And a few other
things.
Here's a list of everything different about that game.
Wild Pokemon
Route 101:
Mew, Flygon, Salamence, Metagross, Rayquaza, Groudon, Celebi
Route 103
Seadra, Haunter, Graveller, Kadabra, Machoke, Huntail, Gorebyss, Slowpoke, Porygon, Latias, Ho-Oh
Route 102
Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Regice, and I'm guessing Regirock and Registeel, although I didn't see one.
Route 116
The only pokemon out of place I found was Jirachi
Route 110
Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Feraligatr, Meganium, Typhlosion, Espeon, Umbreon, Scyther, Pidgeott
Route 113:
Dratini, Larvitar, Sudowoodo
Route 114
Sceptile, Blaziken, Swampert
Route 120:
Deoxys, Mewtwo, Lugia
Other
-There's shallow water in Littleroute near route 101
-There's a land path right across the water on route 103, meaning even at the beginning of the game one can travel across to route 110
-Masterballs are sold (more like given away) for free at Pettleburg Mart
Many of the routes are misshapen.
And before anybody says he cheated for those wild pokémon to appear, they appear without a cheating device in the game. And most importantly, the pokedex in his game shows the changed locations of the pokémon. For example, Articuno is found on his game on route 102. If you go to Articuno in the dex and look up its area, it'll show route 102.
Now his dad got this game for him last Christmas. Apparently it came right from Japan.
Has anybody heard of anything like this? And what do you think made that game messed up?
