Video Card Drivers

I just re-installed a game called 'Alice' which I have had for at least two years. The problem is that the health and weapon bars are in the middle, blocking my view. I tryed Googling it, one person said to go to it's properties and have it run on Windows 98. BTW, I'm using XP. I called my sis and she said that she had to install new drivers for the video card. I downloaded some from download.com. It says they installed and I restarted the computer and it still didn't work. My video card is NVIDIA Vanta/Vanta Lt (Microsoft Corporation). Help please.

try right click on shortcut and then properties----->compactibillity----->windows95/98

I tried that already, it didn't work. My sister got it to work one time, like a year ago by installing a driver. I can't seem to find one that works with my driver. I've tried installing DirectX but that didn't work.
