I believe the shield concept adds a whole new dynamic of gameplay whereby players must be more strategic in the order they submit answers with respect to those who do and do not want their preferred show to advance.

imo there should be no consecutive shielding for the same game. Meaning, a user must wait a minimum of one post before shielding that game again. I think this would create a fairer playing field.

I object to that alteration as it takes away from the strategy of the game. e.g. if played A and B both want to protect the same game and played A goes first, then Player B may want to wait before making their vote until another player who wants that game eliminated posts meaning that it actually might be better to delay when you vote instead always voting as soon as you can which is a tactical aspect not present in any of the other face-offs.

Anyone else have any thoughts on the shield? It was my silly idea, so if you hate it blame me hahah

It would only work in Face-Offs where more than one game advances obviously. Otherwise it would be overpowered
