Hi guys, so this is a thread about the currently airing anime Vinland Saga and the manga where it's adapted from. This currently airing anime has created a lot of hype amidst the fans as of late and is in general very highly rated/acclaimed by several people based on what I've seen so far, so I just thought about creating a thread where fans of this show who are following it can discuss and debate about this show/manga.

I've personally started watching the show a couple of weeks ago, and I am fully caught up on the series, having watched all the aired episodes of it so far and intend to follow the season weekly with every upcoming episode. I'm loving the anime so far.

Note: While discussing manga content which hasn't happened in the anime yet, please use spoiler tags, because there are some fans who just follow the anime and don't read the manga (I myself am one of them).

It's good, really good. I love the scenery, the action, the confrontations with the dark reality at the times and all of this handled so well before they actually get to Vinland or the Americas.

, every anime only watcher is in for a surprise. I only know this manga through TvTropes, but I suggest avoiding the Wikipedia chapter list page to avoid major spoilers as it has the names of all the chapters.

Saw the most recent episode. As soon as they said that the Danes are going to be punished for being evil, I knew what was pretty much going to happen later.
