Sup all you PokeFans!!! ;029;

I was doing some heavy training the other day and I noticed somethin....

Vitamins are total scams....>.<

I rather just stick to the plain ole Macho Brace and the Pokerus which I recently got for the first time >.<

SCORE!!!!.....*plots evil plan*

Anywho..the vitamins...big scam

Example...
2 Rayquazas same nature and everyting...(the nature I had boosted SP Attck)
One Rayquaza I maxed all the stats with 10 vitamins per stat. and battled Vielplumes...w/ Macho Brace
One Rayquaza I battled nuthin but pure Vielplumes (which gives 3 effort points) w/ Macho Brace

I trained the one with the maxed out stats and it didn't grow very well
Each lvl it's SP Attck grew between the ranges of +5 and +7

But...

When I trained the one with the Macho Brace...The first 10 lvls I trained it...
It's SP Attck grew like +10, +13, +15!!!!

In the end the Rayquaza that I trained (w/o vitamins) had a total SP Attck of 435!!! >.<
The other...310 U_U

WTH...I thought Vitamins were supposed to help your Pokemon not deprive them of increased stats...

Anyways...Just wonderin...which do you prefer...vitamins or ole fashioned training??? >.>

Delete one of your post and add the two messages together. Anyways, I use both, but more old fashioned training, than vitamins. If I'm really in a stitch, then I'll use a vitamin to help me.

I thought Vitamins were the WonderDrug, then I lost a tournament with the steroid-boosted Pokémon. That ended my belief. I just go with old-fashioned training.

The problem is Macho Brace helps raise other stats but halves speed so if you gave vitamins to the Macho Brace rayquaza it would own

^It just halfs the speed in battle, and if you take the Macho Brace, its speed will get back to normal.
Anyway, I prefer EV training. Why spend money or BP if we can have a good stats free?

Macho Brace works better with a fast pokemon such as Electrode or Ninjask. I train my pokemons with vitamins and then in the wild. I don't know if my trick works good...

Scoop on Vitamins:

Vitamins raise your EV points at 10 per vitamin (I think). But it maxes out at 100 EV points you can get this way. On top of it, It will only allow you to add vitamins if your EV in that level is less than 100 (or 90 or lower since it rounds up. If you have 91 EVs in Attack, you cannot take another Protein vitamin).

So Vitamins are great for untrained/just caught pokemon to raise their EV (and happiness) right away. After that, feel free to Macho Brace/Pokerus/whatever.

Also works on VERY SLOW pokemon[ like Slugma] too. lol.

I personally only ever use vitamins if I can't afford to raise my good lvl 50 Battle Frontier Pokemon any higher. EV training is MUCH more useful :)

I start EV training by using 10 vitamins for the stat I want to train and then complete the training by battling a Pokémon that gives those EVs. Like when I trained Blissey for the Battle Pyramid, I gave it 10 HP Ups and 10 Irons. I then trained against Whismur in Rusturf tunnel, against Clampearl underwater and against Tentacool while surfing. As far as I know, that is the best way to EV train. Using the vitamins drastically lowers the time training.

That's your problem. Using vitamins on every stat means you'll have no room for any more Spec. Atk EVs.

Also, you're lying. It's impossible to have a Rayquaza, level100 with a +Sp. Atk nature with a Sp. Atk stat of 310.

Vitamins have the same effect as EV training, but their use is limitted.

I train them to level 50 while focusing on the stats they need the most (in a way, EV training at the same time) and top up their stats with vitamins when they're having a rough time. Since I'm loaded, it's not much of an issue for me.

I use vitamins alot too, since I literally got more money than I know what to do with.I just recently started EV training, before I never bothered with it.

I use Vitamins to help my faster pokemon be faster than the opponent even with the macho brace on. My milotic kept getting Pwned by zubats in altering cave. I gave it ten carbos and now it's faster. For me, I just like to use them in a pinch.

I always use Vitamins when EV-training to speed up the process. I'm very impatient, and I have loads of money on all of my games. XD It's 100 less Pokemon I have to battle.

Vitamins certainly speed up the process, though they are only good for rough EV training, as they give the EVs in incraments of ten. It's impossible to smoothly EV train without battling a few Pokemon.
