Volt Tackle on Raichu?

Boogiepop

Shinigami
Just wondering if there is a good moveset for volt tackle on Raichu? I was thinking about:
Volt Tackle
Subsitiute
Encore/Wish
Focus Punch
With a hasty nature.
Any ideas welcome, but i want to keep the volt tackle.

t-bolt>>>>>>volt tackle IMO
lol...someone obviously didn't read the "i want to keep the volt tackle" part

I think either rocky505's moveset or your original one with Wish (both are the same except for 1 move) would work.

Try:
Raichu
Shock wave
Volt tackle
Brick Break
Strength/Dig

With these moves you weaknesses stand no chance whatsoever and ever if you get a syther that keeps using doubleteam you can still hit him/her with shockwave and use volt tackle as backup for REALLY strong water or flying types like the elite 4.

I hate Resters!!!
I think your original MS will work because you are going to have to have a lot of healing to keep up with Volt Tackle.

Uh... a few problems with the MS.

1) You don't need Shock Wave AND Volt Tackle. Both are Electric attacks that damage, so having both is just overkill. You're not going to encounter a lot of Double Teams anyway.

2) Brick Break is okay ingame, but it is weak for Raichu. (trust me, I know. >_<)

3) Strength is a filler move, and Dig is really really weak. A Dig attack from Raichu might get rid of something with a 4x weakness aginst Ground attacks, but other than that, you're not going to accomplish much of anything that way.

Hm... You could always use my Raichu...?

Raichu ;026;

Pokemon Power:
Default - Static

Nature:
Hasty, Naive, Mild, Rash, Quirky, Bashful, Serious, Docile, or Hardy.

Moves:
Wish - breed pikachu(f) with togetic(m)
Volt Tackle - breed pikachu(f) holding light ball with togetic (m)
Mega Kick - Move tutor
Flash - HM05

Strategy:
Depending on opponent, use flash or wish as your first move (you've lots of speed, so it should be easy). If you've used wish, attack with volt tackle. The recoil you get from volt tackle should be healed with the wish on the same turn. If you're in a pickle, use Mega Kick... This pokemon is only truely weak against rock/ground and steel/ground.

Flash... there are some problems with that too. It's really inaccurate, and you're relying on luck for you opponent to miss. :/

Mega Kick is also really inaccurate. >_< Not only that, but it isn't super-effective against anything, so it isn't needed as well.

Raichu@Leftovers
Hasty/Mild/Lonely nature

V-Tackle
Substitute
Focus Punch
Encore/Hidden Power:{Grass/Ice}

Fun:

Raichu@Choice Band
Lonely nature

V-Tackle/T-Bolt
Brick Break
Iron Tail
Double-Edge/Return/Hidden Power:{Bug/Ghost/Ground)

Silver Dragonair

OMG internetz
Volt Tackle
T-Wave/Sub
Focus Punch
HP Grass

Try that, thats the set my Raichu has. Except T-Bolt over V-tackle but I had a hard time getting HP grass. I dont like using moves that cause recoil unless I have rock head as a trait. Like my Thick Club marowak with double edge is teh sexxorz.

Recoil will bite you in the behind sooner or later.
