    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

Lol, thats the whole point while people are voting for ditto. With its dream world ability, it would accurally be useful in battles. Imposter makes it transform into the opponent pokémon right after its sent out, instead of having to use the move transform and probably die before it got the time to do it, or after it just transformed.It also copies the opponent stat boost, so if its holding a choice scarf it will always outspeed the opponent, unless the opponent holding a choice scarf himself then it will be a speed tie.

I'd be careful about saying stuff like this if I were you. Most of the Pokemon players are kids who may want a legendary, whether you like it or not.

I missed out on a bunch of the earlier games, barring me from experiencing the Arceus thing so naturally I personally want to get an Arceus. I'll honestly be very surprised if the chosen Pokemon isn't a Legendary...

IMO, any legendary is a clear win among the legions of other players outside of sites like these.

Im jumping on the ditto bandwagon now, I dont think lugia stands a chance at this point and I want to fight the arceus power...I have 3 seperate arceus', thats more then enough.

^I'd at least wait to see next Tuesday's rankings updates before giving up on Lugia, etc. entirely. If a week hasn't helped it, then give up on it.

How about Mew as a compromise between Arceus and Ditto? It's an event legend, which is hard to get with your own OT, and it can use Transform;). Plus it was in third.

I'm kinda leaning towards Mew now ... just the whole Mew in a Dream Ball thing ... how cool would that be.

I did vote for Ditto ... but My Browser erases cookies when I close it and I set the vote page as my home page so I can vote every time I open my browser ... I've been voting Mew lately, especially now that Mew's #3 in the polls :p

Ditto (imposter ... win)
Lugia or Ho-oh (great Hidden Abilities, but banned, and since as a collectable not as cool as Mew ... meh?)
Baggon ( = Salamence with Moxie huge for competition play ... may be banned - uber ... sooooooooo, yeah.)
or you can vote for your favorite pokemon as is the spirit of the promotion (I made at least one vote for abra, even though I already have a DW Abra ... Abra's been my favorite since I played Red ... wish Abra's Hidden Ability was Telepathy I'd love to Run that with My Drizzle Politoed's Surf)
Please don't Vote Arceus if for any other reason than that the average 10 year old/casual player may vote Arceus and anyone here or on any other dedicated Pokemon site/forum has access to getting a Japanese Dream World Arceus through a simple shop trade ... some shop owners have given them away ... or try GTS like I did you can get a OT MAT DW ARCEUS for a Patrat (with patients) ... personally an Arceus with my OT in a Dream Ball doesn't seem all that great ... well maybe great, but not great ... you know what I mean.

I'm going to stick with Lugia for a little bit longer. With the new mountain expansion, there's always the possibility Ditto will be there, so if it turns out he's there, Lugia won't be far behind.

I'm voting for Salamence. Moxie is the perfect ability for him, and I want him now rather than waiting for Bagon in DW release in a to be determined future. Ditto would also be cool though. It was a toss up, I'd be excited if either of them win.

I won't be excited if Arceus wins though, because frankly that's pretty stupid. Not to mention at this point he's been available a bunch of different ways. Honestly, I have extra, if you want one I will trade you for your vote for a Ditto or Salamence.

I voted Deoxys, I know Ditto will be great for competitive play, but from my collectors point of view I've struggled to get hold of legit Deoxys.
I got a couple from the Gen III events which are still on those games and still haven't managed to complete the Ranger event as I need someone to play with so I can transfer to Gen IV.
Every other Legend seems to get an event (Mew, Jirachi, Manaphy, Celebi etc) but not Deoxys.
I was also tempted by Darkrai as I would like to RNG one of those (Mmm Dark Void) and I could never RNG on Gen IV so have just ended up with a couple of low IV'd one's :(

Eh.. I'm honestly torn between who I want to win at this point.

Pokemon im hoping for: Deoxys, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus.

I don't have an Arceus, but I do prefer Deoxys a lot more just so I can finish the Hoenn dex. I think I might wait til next Tuesday, if Arceus is still ranked 1st I might just stick to voting for him.

voted for Salamence, because I could care less about the other legendaries and imposter Ditto isn't all it's hyped up to be imo, if you don't have counters for your own pokemon, then you really need to revamp your team. All Ditto will really do is play cat and mouse with other teams.

If Ditto has been popular for the past 3 polls, I think it's only logical that GF releases Ditto somewhere in the future, whether it's on these games or maybe on Pokemon Gray. It will probably be some lab type thing with Magnemite,Voltorb,Porygon and some other pokemon that like labs.

(and yes, I am voting for Mence in the hopes that one of the game remakes provide Outrage for it as a move tutor move, also because it's my favorite and I could never vote against it unless it was for Bagon).
