elephantdog

ÜberlegenDeLeuteHier
This battle took place on my birthday. After all the whole crazy "do everything you can do at 18" on this day, I decided to take a break. It was around 11 PM but I wasn't tired enough to sleep so I decided to battle someone. I didn't plan to be frustrated on my birthday but the Miltank on this team really did it. It was a fun battle so I had a great time with this guy. Comments in Bold Purple.

elephantdog sent out Donphan.

Miltank – 100%

It's hard to tell what this Miltank will do. Miltank has a very large movepool so sometimes you'll see things that you've never seen before. It's a great Pokemon. I'm going to assume that Miltank will use Stealth Rock, endangering two important members of my team.

That's strange...normally when you see a Donphan lead, he's not going to be attacking. This Miltank is very suspicious. She's probably going to switch out onto a Flying-type, hoping that I use Earthquake.

Yes. That is Frustration. My real Rapidash has Frustration also. People say that they just use Return because it's much easier. In a way, that's true because your Pokemon's happiness would max out by lv100 but making the Pokemon hate you is easier and quicker. I give it a Toxic Orb, battle a trainer that uses more than one Pokemon, and walk around feeding it (every 5 steps) that one powder that recovers 200 HP and makes your Pokemon's happiness drops. I prefer Frustration over Return because it looks so much better. Return in PBR is cute but Frustration is like fireworks. Anyways...on with the battle.

=T That did much more than I thought. That could only mean one thing: Alakazam is Choice Specs-ed. Espeon can outrun him. Alakazam's Special Defense is almost as frail as his Defense so Espeon can OHKO him.

There ya go, kiddos. Espeon beats Alakazam yet again. Alakazam's Speed is 10 higher than Espeon's and his Special Attack is only 5 higher. I personally prefer Espeon because it can actually take a hit or two and its Speed and Special Attack aren't much lower. Almost forgot. Look at Espeon's picture. Isn't that so ugly? This battle took place in the OU ladder even though we both used UUs (Honchkrow was a UU then). I haven't used this team ever since. It's my main team and all but I wanted something fresh. Ever since this battle, I've been using my best friend's team (the one with Girafarig). Things to mention: Espeon did a good job, taking out the biggest threat on that team and rival Pokemon Alakazam. Even though Miltank was the biggest threat on that team, I expected more from it. I was looking forward to it crippling my team with ThunderWave. Honchkrow didn't do too well during this battle but his Typhlosion was definitely something new. You don't see those every day. Doing close to 50% damage to Lanturn with HP Grass showed how powerful that guy is.

Omg miltank >.> hate it. That thing beat my pert 1 on 1. of course it has milk drink and all, but...
And that's strange that not only did it not have twave bit its only attack is counter.
His moves are SR, protect, counter, milk drink...hmm...plus miltank does have the bulk that players rely on endgame should they have no other options, so it seems like a bad idea for a set.

I respect you both for this battle. 6/12 fighters were johto, which means you guys have good taste, none were ubers, which means you guys have super good taste, and none of them were pseudolegends, which means this battle was epic.

Although earlier you said "Is this miltank scarfed?" which is impossble. You forgot to take into account that miltank had leftovers.

Thank You! ...and that comment about Miltank was kinda a sarcastic comment (not sarcastic. I can't find a word to describe it). It's because the Miltank keeps using the move as if it was Choiced. I never use Hoenn Pokemon. It's not like I avoid them. I just don't like them enough to even consider them.

Yeah, interesting battle, still wondering what he was thinking with that Miltank. Protecting and then Countering? What the hell...
