Wow I didn't know that. I feel kind of bad. Why do you have to wait that long. Its kind of not fair to you guys

Well.in a way I wouldent say it is unfair in that way,but I do think that NoE(Nintendo of Europe) should split it into Nintendo UK and Ireland.I mean we speak English so I think we should get it around the same time as you.
But that seems like a really bad Idea XD

Then you'd be ignoring continental Europe. Nintendo of Europe, as they stand, have a ton of translators to put the games into every major European language. Well, every major major European language. (I know they do at least Spanish, French, German, and Italian.) They have a ton of people there already, though I don't know how much Nintendo of Europe really cares...

Thats what sucks about being in Europe. It probably takes no time at all to translate the game into English (Its already in it anyway) but 6 months to do all the other european language. Meanwhile the english copies get dusty whilst the translators frantically try to remember the german for "It hurt itself in the confusion".

In an ideal world there would be Nintendo England, Nintendo France, Nintendo Germany etc. But thats the kind of idea that should stay in my head and not by allowed out into the open. Like so many others...

I am slighty annoyed that its takes PBR six months to cross the atlantic ocean. I could probably row there in a dingy, buy a copy and get back before its released. Assuming I'd make it.

I'm sure Nintendo can get a German translator who doesn't have to struggle figuring out what "It hurt itself in its confusion" is in German. They're native speakers of their own languages. They'll know their languages very well. I think a lot of problems come in the conversion from NTSC to PAL.

You'd need to get an American Wii if you're going to play an American PBR...and an American TV, for that matter, with an adaptor for American voltage.

well ya bad for you... we will get ssbb by the time u get pbr but you shouldent complain since its not like we had to wait we just got ours first. i think i heard of it like 8 months before it came and i was looking forward to it. you had to wait a little lnger i know that but you should not complain and say, "boo hoo Boo hoo i wish i had the game becuase im to lazy and dont want to wait for like 3 months... Boohoo BooooooooHooooooo!" Its annoying and i think this is like the say 10th thread saying this.

Actually, we arent that lucky.

$50 for repetitive battles and short single player. Not only that, but you HAVE to have D/P if you want ANY enjoyment out of the game. But I think Battle Revolution is ok for me, but its just too short. There isn't even a story mode, but I can forgive that since Nintendo stated that issue in an interview.

Actually, I don't think it has anything to do with translations, because Australia gets it really late, too.

Converting from NTSC to PAL is what I think is the main time consumer. Some things get lost in the translation (as in technologically, not linguistically), and companies like Nintendo of Europe need to put stuff back in to replace whats lost.

It's long because they translate everything and for marketing.
I live in Québec and I got the game on US release date. Yes, it's in english, but it doesn't matter 'cause I speak french & english.
Maybe Europeans who understand english could buy the english game on eBay? I don't know. Any solution?

Damn, I heard on the damn chat that it would come out in October, but now its selayed by 2 more bloody months. For gods sake there are lots of good translation websites on the web. It wouldnt really take long to go on a website, get the German, French, Italian and Spanish for about 57 phrases and write them down. Some people could do that in less than a day. Ah well.
