my pokemon sword catridge is euro region. not the digital version. i want to purchase dlc pass from us eshop. is it work or not? or i only can purchase from euro eshop. thanks

Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

I would assume the regions have to match for the dlc to be compatible with the main game

I don’t have any game carts from any other regions other than the US but I would think that DLC bought from a different region’s eShop wouldn’t matter. The games themselves aren’t region locked and neither is the Switch. All of the system’s games have multiple in-game language options that allow you to choose your preferred language as soon as you turn on the game for the very first time.
