Deathspector
<-- Blastoise O.o
The carrion-birds cupped their wings, riding on the thermals emanating form the desolate land below. They swooped and ducked in the cured blood-red skies of the world. Even the very air had turned musty, and difficult to breathe in. As the wretched birds continued to fly in circles above the entrance to the outer world from the underground society of Goldenrod, below, the screams and pleas of a human being could be heard. The birds began to flap excitedly, they could smell warm blood. That was becoming a rarity nowadays, as less and less humans ventured out into the outer world without being protected. They dived down towards the ground, to see what was happening.
As they did so, they caught sight of the never-ending plains of the outer world, devoid of any plant form. It seemed that the Demons had even managed to flatten the mountains, and ruin the lovely valleys that had once stood, protected by two mountains; a home for the homeless. The carrion-birds, however, did not take notice of the moor-like landscape. They saw it on a daily basis. No, what they saw was even worse.
Down below, were two hulked forms, devouring another. One of the forms raised its head, and howled at the red sky, savouring the taste of fresh blood. His face was shaped like a canine, blood dripping from its mouth. Its entire body was covered in fur, and resembled nothing more than a wolf on legs. His partner, however, was different. Demons had a habit of inbreeding amongst their own people, and this Demon had the head of a serpent, claws and fur of a cheetah, and legs of a human. Between the two of them, lay a human, still screaming and alive, while having his insides eaten in front of him.
The carrion-birds squealed in delight, and swooped down upon the Demons, trying to lure them away from the human. After several failed attempts, the wolf-Demon got angry, and lashed out with his claws. The carrion-bird, at the last moment, flew upwards, and the wolf-Demon’s attack hit the back of his friend. The serpent-cheetah-Demon snarled, and pounced upon the wolf-Demon, striking with its head. The carrion-birds, meanwhile, dined on the human’s innards.
Almost nine miles below, a Slayer fought.
This particular person was actually in a simulated fight against a herd of Demons. In his hands, he clutched two pistols. He was fighting against simulated bear-Demons. One of the Demons got too close, and he loosed three quick shots from his pistol. It did not kill the Demon, but the Demon backed away. Suddenly, the Slayer noticed a shadow from behind him. Spinning expertly, he drew his second pistol, and fired five shots, from each one at the Demon behind him.
The bullets whizzed through the air, and buried themselves inside the bear-Demon’s fur, spilling the horrid blood, and filling the Slayer’s nose with a despicable stench. One of the Demons ran, and dived at the Slayer, who quickly leapt into the air, and blasted the Demon with four shots, right on the spinal chord. He landed, like a cat, on his legs, only to be grabbed from behind by two large and hairy hands.
He jerked his head backwards, slamming it into the Demon’s face. The Demon let go of the Slayer for a split second, and that was the big mistake he made. The Slayer spun around in a complete roundhouse kick, smashing his foot into the Demon’s throat, and throwing the massive figure down on the ground. Without warning, three of the Demons jumped at him.
He quickly dealt with one of them with a couple of bullet from his pistol, an jumped out of the way of the next, only to get knocked to the floor by the third, completely squashed by the sheer mass of the Demon. Instinctively, his hand reached for his belt, and he chucked one of his poké-balls into the air. The ball snapped open, flooding the Slayer’s vision in a pallid light, only to leave behind his trusty Vileplume. The flower-Pokémon saw her master submerged by the Demon, and attacked.
Slayer’s Pokémon were trained to use moves by themselves if their master’s were unable to call an attack.
A white ball formed at the centre of the Vileplume’s flower, only to blast the bear-Demon off her master’s back with a powerful Solar Beam. The Slayer grinned, and spun his pistols around in his hand.
“Let’s have some fun, aye?”
