Note: All rights of the Warrior Cats series go to Erin Hunter. I'm just using their universe for this RPG.

News: RPG Thread has started! http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?p=13861559#post13861559

This RPG is PG-13, for violence. Otherwise, it’s pretty clean.

Plot: “Long ago, the forest was wild and untamed by borders. The cats living in the area were not clans, but small groups, fighting over territories. Battles happened often, and cats lived in fear. One day, the cats decided to meet at four great oaks. A fight about prey broke out, and soon after, many cats laid slain. The few survivors were too exhausted to continue fighting, so they fell asleep on the blood-soaked ground. When the cats awoke, the sky was covered in clouds. The cats that had died were in a circle surrounding them, but no longer were wounded and bloody. Their pelts were flickering with stars. Suddenly, visions of the forest flooded in blood and kits stalked at their by death appeared to the frightened cats. The dead cats relayed a message, and its purpose was clear: ‘Unite or die.”

Five cats—Thunder, Wind, River, Shadow, and Sky, all argued about being the leaders of the forest, until a starry tabby yowled, ‘Enough! Every one of you can be leaders. Find cats that are like you. Divide territories that suit you. You will no longer be rouges, scrapping and battling every day for life.’

A white-haired starry cat stepped out of the circle, ‘Next moon, you will meet in peace. Thunder, Wind, River, Shadow, and Sky, you will each receive eight extra lives. You will develop a warrior code. If you meet here in peace, we will be pleased.’ The cat pointed his tail up to the sky, ‘This is Silverpelt, where we, you ancestors, will watch over you. If it clouds over during a Gathering, you will know we are angry, and you are doing something wrong.’

‘Live by the code you develop, and only fight for noble causes, not for greed and territory,” The starry tabby who had spoken before stepped out of the circle as well, “and you will survive. You will be Warriors!’

Thus, the time of the clans had begun,” The orange elder yawned, looking down at the three kits who he had been telling the tale of how the clans had started. Looking up into Silverpelt, the she-cat yawned once more.

“Bedtime, kits,” The elder got up and stretched her front legs. All three of the kits looked disappointed, but they were almost falling asleep on their paws. They stumbled off to their den with their mother.

The clans were now in the middle of peace, which was not unusual, but did not happen often. Thunderclan and Skyclan still had their disputes about their border, but otherwise. Cats were glad for the nice Greenleaf (Summer) weather, and there were not as many Twolegs (humans), as usual. Everything was peaceful.

What was bothering some of the Medicine Cats, though, was that Starclan was being unusually silent. They were also concerned about their dark dreams of dark cats swarming the forest and destroying everything. They were silent of this to their leaders, though, thinking that it was of no concern.

Warriors. Fight. Hunt. Survive.

Rules: 1) All SPPF rules. That is given.
2) You must allow your cat to get hurt in battle. You can’t have a perfect cat, who kills every cat and never gets a scratch.
3) Follow the Warrior Code. It is listed below:
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
4) You may have more than one cat. There are many NPC cats, so if you create one once the RPG starts, we can say it was NPC at first.
5) Have fun!

Alligences:
Thunderclan: Thunderclan is fierce and brave. They are located in thick, brambly forest, and are the best at turning around in the smallest of spaces. Thunderclan is often called weak, for they take in loners and rouges. Their camp is a clearing in the forest, and the place where the leader speaks is called the Highrock.
Leader: "Winterbreezesrule"
Deputy: "Flame Mistress"- Rosethorn
Medicine Cat:"Maz2468"- Quaketail
Warriors:
"leafstormfire"- Icefire
"iStorm"- Stonetail
"Wyrm"- Fogheart
"Spyrox Pikachu"- Almondbreeze
"HeradrossGod"- Chaosfang
Apprentices:
"Winterbreezesrule"- Mintpaw
Kits: "Audino Glitch"- Ashkit- (medicine cat apprentice in quarter-moon)
"lawmaster"- Sagekit- (warrior apprentice in quarter-moon)
Elders:

Windclan: Windclan is swift and loyal. They are the only cats who sleep out in the open. Their territory is on an open moor. They are the skinniest of the cats, but also the fastest. Their camp is a dip on the moor surrounded by gorse bushes. The place where their leader speaks is the Highstone. This clan is NPC.

Riverclan: Riverclan is clever and strong. They are the only cats who swim, and they are sleek and usually more well fed than the other cats. They live on an ‘island’ surrounded by reeds. Their camp is on the middle of the island, and the leader speaks on the Highstone. This clan is NPC.

Shadowclan: Shadowclan is wily and proud. They are nighttime cats, and have the name Shadowclan for a reason. They are called battle-hungry and cruel, but this is not true. They live in thick pine forest. Their camp is also in a clearing, like Thunderclan, but there are still pine trees hanging into it. Their leader speaks from the Highpine. This clan is NPC.

Skyclan: Skyclan is spirited and lighthearted. They are excellent jumpers, and live in territory with tall trees. They are lean like Windclan. They live in a clearing surrounded by tall trees, and their leader speaks from the Hightree. This clan is NPC.

Starclan: Starclan is the resting place of all of the clan’s ancestors. Starclan cats now are all really friends, even though they were seperated by clan borders on their time on Earth. They comminuicate with the clans though dreams and Medicine Cats. These cats will most likely be NPC.

Place of No Stars: Not all cats are good and pure. When evil cats die, they are sent here to be alone, without comfort. They walk the decaying forest forever. These cats will most likely be NPC.

Positions:

Kit: The first thing a cat is. When a cat is born, it is called a kit. It is named by it’s appearance, actions, or otherwise. The last part of their name ends in “kit”. For the sake of this RPG and signups, kits will be mainly NPC’s.

Apprentice: An apprentice is a kit that is six moons (months) old. It looses the “kit” part of its name, and takes on the name “paw”. (Example: Firekit to Firepaw.) They can either train to be Warriors, or Medicine Cats.

Warrior: An apprentice that has completed his/her training. They are now fully trained to fight, hunt, and protect their clan. They loose the “paw” part of their name and take on another name. (Example: Firepaw to Fireheart, Sandpaw to Sandstorm.) If a she-cat prepares to have kits, or has kits, they’re called a queen.

Medicine Cat: If an apprentice takes the path of a Medicine Cat, they too will loose the “paw” part of their name and take on another name. Unlike Warriors, however, Medicine Cats are trained on how to help cats and have a special connection with starclan. Once every quarter-moon (week), the medicine cats meet at the Moonstone, a sacred place for Starclan. They cannot have a mate.

Deputy: Deputy’s are the Leaders rightpawed cat. They are the cats who orginize patrols, and take over if a leader dies or retires.

Leader: The leader of a clan is, well, a leader. They are the only cat with nine lives, and are the ones who make important decisions.
Elder: Many cats die in battle, and of sickness. A few cats, though, live to an old age. They retire, and become elders. Elders can still fight, but they don’t have duites like Border Patrols and Hunting.

~Setting Sail~
Name: Fogheart

Position in clan: Warrior

Gender: male

Personality: Fogheart is a quiet cat who prefers to deal with things independently, not even wanting words of encouragement. Despite this, however, he eventually came to realize that cooperation is a must at times. He tries to avoid assistance from others whenever he doesn't need it, but works well when the situation calls for it. Unlike most of his clanmates, Fogheart is socially awkward. It's hard for him to understand the concept of friendship, let alone love. He thinks that only the clan matters, because that was the cornerstone of his training. In most other areas, he isn't afraid of anything, and is willing to stand up against a higher ranking cat whenever things seem unfair. Otherwise, Fogheart does not complain when given a boring or tedious task. He will almost always defend the Warrior Code, but will sometimes protest against it when he feels that it isn't right. In general, Fogheart is cunning, but has a blank mind every now and then. He is also rather patient.

Appearance: Fogheart has grayish-blue fur all over, complimented by very pale, seaweed-green eyes. He is medium-large in size, and sports a somewhat muscular body. His tail is average in length, but flexible. His left ear is notched badly from a training incident, along with other scars from various painful scenarios. His legs are of average length, and have claws of subtle, yet varying lengths. The pads on his feet are hard, due to his successful attempts with walking on various terrains. His teeth are straight and sharp, but softer than normal. His whiskers are extra long, but one is missing due to yet another incident. His nose is normal in both size and shape.

History: Fogheart was a shy kit when he was young, and made every effort to put distance between himself and other kits who tried to play with him. In his defense, he always said that he wanted to only go physical or social if the clan needed it. With that, he never made any friends. When he became an apprentice, he disdainfully attempted to communicate with his mentor when he needed to, and almost mentally exploded at some points, causing a few incidents. (Including the one responsible for his ripped ear.) However, he managed to train is way through, and eventually became a warrior faster than normal. However, this caused him to be smaller than most warriors, and resulted in less physical output than usual. Even so, Fogheart has managed to earn the reputation of fighting with a balance of strength and wits and also become the hunter who, even though he can take forever to catch one mouse, is most likely to catch what he sets his eyes on.

Other: As of now, Fogheart still has no friends or love interests, and doesn't expect it to happen any time soon. He hasn't mentored anyone yet.

@ Flame Mistress- I'm sorry, but Crimson had already reserved. I just haddn't put it down. Sorry about that >< I didn't have enough time when I posted the thread. You can still have a reserve, though.

@Wyrm- Pending. His appearance is to short.

@Leafstormfire- Reserved!

Hey, is it alright to play as a kit if they are close to turning 6 moons?

I used to love reading these books, and haven't roleplayed it in years. Reserve for a warrior?

@Audino- Yes, I really just put kits as NPCs because it'd be hard to do history.

@iStorm- Reserved!

EDIT: Wyrm, you're now accepted!

Cryptic thoughts
Name: Brackenheart
Positon in Clan: Deputy
Gender: Tom
Personality: Brackenheart is a very mellow tom, he cares for every cat in the clan, from the smallest kit to the oldest elder. He makes sure that in times of great need the queens have enough fresh kill and water so they have milk to care for their kits, and that the elders nests are dry so that they're comfortably settled down in their nests. He is kind and caring, often seen giving his share of the kill to those who need it, and giving others advice when needed. Brackenheart does have a fierce side though and isn't afraid to lash out at those who trespass and steal prey. Brackenheart is a loyal clan member through and through.
Appearance: Brackenheart is a pale ginger and brown tom. The mixture of brown and ginger in his fur gives it the illusion of bracken dappling the forest floor. That's why his mother had named him Brackenkit. The front of his chest and his paws are creamy on colour, and his eyes, brilliant blue. He is a medium build tom who lacks strength that other warriors have, but makes up for in in stealth and litheness. He has a thick tail that covers his paws nicely when he sits down. Scars cover this tom's pelt, showing just how hard warrior life can be, the most notiable one; however, is an ugly scar recieved from a Shadowclan warrior over a border skirmish. The fiesty intruder raked his claws down the side of his face, almost blinding him.
History: Brackenheart was born a clan cat. His mother a Thunderclan cat, as well as his father, no mixed blood for him. His mother named him Brackenkit due to the colouration of his fur. From an early age, a young Brackenkit was curious about what went on in the clan. He would smell the fishy scent of Riverclan, the musky pine scent of Shadowclan, the moorland scent of Windclan, and the woodland scent of Skyclan, the last of which reminded Brackenkit of Thunderclan's warm, welcoming scent, on the pelts of his clan mates as they returned from patrol. He knew that when he was older, he was going to become a great warrior, the greatest warrior the forest has ever known, and one day his name would be Brackenstar, Thunderclan's bravest leader. The first step to his dream was when he became an apprentice, assigned to a loving, gentle mentor who taught him that not every battle could be won with tooth and claw, and that a humble warrior admits defeat. Brackenpaw was a fast learner, in both wits and battle skills. Though despite excelling in both brains and battle skill, he did lack proper hunting abilities and found it harder to catch prey then other cats. Shortly after becoming a full on warrior, Brackenheart was given his own apprentice to mentor, and like his mentor before him, taught the kit everything that was passed down to him. When Thunderclan's current leader died, their current deputy Smokestar became leader, and Brackenheart was his first choice upon becoming his deputy.

@Crimson- Pending, mainly because you're not done yet. Your personality is also a few words short, above ninety words. Nothing too major, but rules are rules. Just a little tweak will fix it.

AudinoGlitch

Weird Person
Name: AshKit

Positon in Clan: Kit

Gender: Male

History: AshKit ran into a problem at 2 moons old. He fell ill with an unknown disease. One day he was walking with his mother and he found a mushroom. He sniffed it and inhaled a few spores. The next day, he was shivering uncontrollably and couldn't get out of bed. The spores made him feel very cold and very achy. During this time his mother cuddled with him most of the day to comfort him.

It was 2 moons until AshKit could move again, but the illness he had took its toll on him. It took a week to get him to stop shaking when standing and it appeared that he couldn't run. It was clear that he would never be a warrior, not that he cared. When other kits would play by running around, Ashkit would have to sit down and watch. Most kits could play for hours but he could only do it for 10 minutes before becoming exhausted.

Personality: AshKit is a rather friendly kit. He will cuddle with anyone which can sometimes cause them discomfort. AshKit really only does it because his mother did it to him when he was sick and it feels really good to him to cuddle with any cat. He is joyful and thankful to be alive. He's great in a conversation with anyone as long as he knows what he's talking about.

As joyful as AshKit is, he does a few issues. He loses it when someone calls him weak, although he will usually collapse after attacking once. His real issue is with the cold. Once he starts getting the slightest chill, he shudders at the memory of his illness. To him, the cold is everything evil. During cold times, he will cuddle up with ANYONE for warmth.

Appearance: AshKit's coat is ash gray, hence the name. He is a shorthair so his coat doesn't get caught on twigs and such. He is so scrawny that most 4 month kits and even a few 3 moon old kits are bigger than him. His legs are rather skinny due to not getting enough meat when he was sick. His tail tends to stick up when he is standing or walking, which isn't that common. His low stamina means that he can't run for long. He tends to sit more than he lays down.

Other: AshKit is 10 days until he reaches the age of 6 moons.

@Audino- Accepted. Also, Ashkit doesn't need the 'kit' part of his name capitalized. Is he going to be a medicine cat apprentice? Or a warrior apprentice? I need that info for when he becomes six moons.

Note about Medicine Cats: A medicine cat apprentice can receive their full name, but they are still an apprentice until the old medicine cat dies.

Is the kit about to become an apprentice? If not, I can't reserve you. Sorry, but kits really don't do much until they're apprentices.

lawmaster

What is that?
Yeah I would like it to be an apprentice as soon as possible I wanted it as the new apprentice so their would be different age groups for the apprentices.
