Chikorita is a thing with a leaf on it's head. It's a Pokemon...

A dino. Though it doesn't really look like it. I thought of it as a blobby-cute-leafy-head-thing XD

It's cause he's a little dino... Meganium is more obviously a dinosaur :)

Albeit with a plant growing out of it's neck...

Chikorita is a Dinosaur, although its evolutions look more Dinosaur like than it does.
