watering rare berries

When I water the rare berries (spelon, pamtre, etc. you know them), I water them 20 times on each stage to get to berries.
Do I really need to water them that much to get 2 berries?

Theres no need to water them that much, im pretty sure you only need to water them about 3 or 4 times in each stage

20 seems a bit much, but for the rare berries, it wouldn't hurt. i try to water em once ever couple of hours.

not true, i watered a Ganlon once per stage and only got one berry in the end. Rarer berries require less watering, this is true, but they DO require more than watering per stage, same goes for non-rare berries.

I water berries three times once a day. It yields two Liechis, Ganlons, Spelons, Watmels, Pamtres, and Belues.

wait, wait, wait... once per stage? I'VE BEEN WASTING MY TIME!!! i've been watering like 5-10 times per stage, and 'cause of that, i've only done one berry at a time! grrr... *smacks self in head* I'm gonna go bang my head on something, then i'm gonna plant LOADS of berries. bye now!

You probaly only need to water rare berries about 5 times per stage. I do that and get 2 berries every time.

wow knowing that will now save me alot of time because i would water my ganlon like 30 times each stage inorder to get 2 berrys. i feel stupid now *sighs*

When I found that out, it was about 3 months after I had been watering my berries once every half hour. It made me releived and frustrated at the same time

I should start watering them once per stage.I usually get 1 of a rare berry and I water them ALOT.

a rare berry takes on a new stage every 12 or 24 hours ( I forgot) I already have all the berrys so I don't water them any more.

excessive watering isn't needed, but regular, frequent watering is! thats pretty much the jist of all these posts, am i right? .-.

I water them once a day. They give out 2 berries. (I play on Ruby for an hour every day)

thank you all this will help alot! If I knew that in the first place, I didn`t have to do all that watering. This will definetly help my berry-work.

It can't be one, I have done that before and it doesn't work.
