Ok, I've been wondering about this for a while, so now I'm asking. Just what exactly do the weather effects do? For example, a sunny day makes Solar Beam 1 turn and increases fire moves. That's all I know right now. Does it increase them by 10%? 25%? 50%? The reason I brought this up this time of all times is seeing a post by someone on a more local board. He said that Thunder is a great move for Kyogre because the rain would make the electricity more powerful and more accurate. I understand that rain apparantly has some benefit to electric attacks, but I have never found just what it did.

Please help if you can. If this is a FAQ, please show me the page that shows me these detailed explanations of the weather conditions.

It never increases strength of attacks Thunder has 70% accuracy and misses alot. during raining it is 100% hitting so thats why

Back I guess??
sunny day: fire attack x1.5, solar beam without the waiting turn and water attacks are halved

rain dance: water attacks x1.5 thunder with 100% acc. and fire attacks are halved

sand storm takes 1/16 HP each turn of all pokemon that aren´t stell/ground/rock.

hail takes 1/8 HP each turn of all pokemon that aren´t the ice type
