What is better to make sites out of? .html or .php?

I prefer HTML

I also prefer HTML cause it's more easier than php and it has easy coding (.htm, .html).

PHP is alright (for onMouseOver and alot of good things) but I don't like seeing those things like:

h++p://www.{insert domain}.com/main.php?site=main/blah

I like PHP better, since you can do more stuff with it than just a layout...
