Weird Habits

Mono789

Master of Charizard
I have a strange habit of starting a new game whenever I beat Fire Red. I trade over all my good Pokémon, then start over using something different. I've gotten some strong Pokémon this way. The second time I started over I ended up having a whole team of them around lv 70, including Blastoise, Flareon, and others. I did this a third time and I beat the elite four, train for a while, and think to myself "meh, forget it, I'll trade them to Emerald and start over." Unfortunately, this time, my gameboy had to be a spaz and not work. Stupid 4-1/2 year old gameboy. The only things I had on my team that made it over were Butterfree (lv 52) and Gengar (lv 60). Now my precious Venasaur, Vaporeon, Nidoking...They are stuck. Plus my link cable is broken, so I can't use that anymore too.

Hm...my quirk is I tend to fall back into my old teammates. My sandslash raises sp atk and lowers defence....bad. BUT, he was one of my old teammates so I set back into my old set.

I used to be very old school. Now that the original 150 are back, im back in the game old school still. Win.

It doesn't really seem to me that the new gen pokemon can beat the old school anyway, in honesty. I suppose thats another reason.

I could say my habit is to have all my Pokémon at the same level. If I have some of my Pokes at Lv 45 and others in Lv 40 and I catch a Pokémon at Lv 20, I will train him till it reach Lv 40, then I train them to 45.

I always breed for moves, natures, Iv, and EV trains them to it's maxinum potential before moving on to the next one, so far, I have done this method with 7 of my pokes.

A bad habit that I am working to beat is whenever I restart a game, I only battle with one pokemon-my starter. This way, one pokemon is always stronger than the rest.

I usually tap the 'A' or 'B' button when a Pokeball shakes. I also get up to Gary or Lance in the E4, then die. XD

Isn't it cute ^^
I yell at my GBA when a poké comes out his ball when I trie to catch, also I sometimes say the attack I command my pokémon to do, like: "Charizard, use Flamethrower!!!" and then I press the A button. sometimes when I'm trying to catch pokémon, that are really hard to find, I close my eyes and try to identify the pokémon that appears by it's sound.

I evenly train too!

Example: Lv 40 team, catch a lv 23 speal, and I take about 7 hours leveling it up!

And I trade over to Leafgreen, when I restart.

And, often, I have at least 1 NU or Low-teir UU pokemon, like Masqurain, and it turns out quite good!

Furret rocks
I'm known for always having a Furret in my team.

Sometimes I trade my team from emerald. It makes things easier :)

Bullet Punch
I've never had one important battle on FRLG without Electabuzz ever since I got him.

I still press B down after throwing a ball even though I jnow it doesn't do anything.

I also try to SR for a shiny but give up almost straight away.
