Weird Habits

I always press down on the B button when catching Pokemon, it's a habit I've had forever, my friend and I used to think it increased our chances of catching the pokemon, lol.

Near the beginning, if I don't trade over any pokemon, I mainly concentrate on raising my starter, and leave the others to rot. (Except when I have Charmander, I raise a Mankey to beat Brock, but I stop training him soon after)

Speaking of trading pokemon, I often trade over EV trained pokes to sweep through the game, as I can't stand my pokemon having bad EVs and stats. >_>

Finally, if I haven't decided all the pokemon for my team, I'll go get a pokemon that seems 'cool' to me, then get bored with it ten minutes later, then get another one, get bored, get another pokemon, get bored again, and so on. I did this in Leaf Green, where it took me forever to decide on a sixth team member.

Use the old school trick for catching pokemon no matter what other people say that it does not work
I yell at my screen if something goes terribly wrong at the Battle Frontier o_O
And I try to breed alot of pokemon that know Explosion

ooo, what's cooking?
I feverishly press the A button in battles and games. I also did the "starter training only" strat, it now makes it impossible for me to pass the Battle Frontier...

Sometimes I trade my team from emerald. It makes things easier :)

I wouldn't consider that a weird habbit, I do that all of the time. :p After get the ability to trade, I always transfer my strongest team over to that game so we can do the Battle Frontier, the Trainer Tower, ect.

In FR/LG, I always go to one of the islands (forgot which one >.<) and ride my bike around and around this one house without stopping until my egg hatches.

I never keep a shiny. I'm always starting a new game.

One time I start a new game and get this shiny squirtle from Prof. Oak. Level it all the way to its final evolution and start a new game. I also had a shiny whismur on ruby but I had to start a new game.

Its so fustrating because now I'm looking for a shiny and can't find one when I look for one.

Me too, but i also press the direction where the ball shakes in the D-Pad, and when it stops i press down hehehe.

I usually train a bellsprout for misty and then throw it in a box for the rest of his life o_O

When i beat a game, I NEED to train the pokemon up. So, like,

52:54:50:60:20
30:22:79:100:66
24:59:54:-:-
-:-:-:-:10
12:6:8:4:2

The numbers are levels, the dashes are blanks in a box. I need to train the weak pokemon at the bottom.

Hold down and B for me. I swear it sometimes make it harder to catch em.

Also, I name my starter an odd version of it's last evo (Mudkip was Swampy)

Hmmm, I just remembered my habit of picking a team before I start...This time on Fire Red it is probably going to be Charizard, Graveler/Golem, Wigglytuff, Mr. Mime, Tentacruel, and Electrode. My inspiration? I haven't a clue.

Ugh...HAX moves stink. Also, for some odd reason, once tackle missed like 5 times in a row. No accuracy decreases, and it was early in the game, so no brightpowder. Weirdness.

I like to catch rare Pokemon, but I ignore the normal ones. I had catch a full box of Feebas before finishing Emerald. I also caught Surskit and transferred it to my "storage" cartridge Leaf Green at the start of Sapphire.

I love to avoid trainers like it's my job... whenever I need to level up, I trade the Pokemon to another cartridge.

I almost always have one dragon type on my team. It's usually traded so I can train it more easily.

I never use ubers.
