Weird mixed team with an offensive edge

Alphatron

friendship is magic
Snorlax (F) @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 140 HP / 176 Atk / 64 SAtk / 128 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Flamethrower
- Frustration
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

As much as lol this may seem, flamethrower is actually a good idea on Snorlax; hits Skarm/Metagross on the switch hard, and doesn't leave it helpless against Gengar. It is still ****ed against TTar, but whatever. Frustration > DE, since recoil against something like Zapdos would hurt, especially if the opponent happens to pack a TTar along with Zapdos.

Cloyster (F) @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Atk / 64 Def / 136 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Explosion
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes

Best spiker. 'nuff said.

Swampert (F) @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 168 Def / 72 SAtk
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Roar

Swampert is a somewhat decent p-hazer actually.

Blaziken (F) @ Choice Band ** ...
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 180 Spd / 76 SAtk
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Focus Punch
- Overheat
- Rock Slide
- Sky Uppercut

felt like using this here
seriously, being able to OHKO Skarmory, and having STAB'd focus punches coming from a 558 Atk stat is NOTHING to laugh at

Metagross @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 140 HP / 76 Atk / 60 Def / 160 SAtk / 72 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Light Screen
- Meteor Mash
- Psychic

eh, Ligth Screen is quite amazing on this tbh, as it makes the team less Zapdos-weak and helps its other team members to setup.
Also, Swampert and Weezing can't switch into this. = ]

Dragonite (F) @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 52 HP / 240 Atk / 68 Spd / 148 SAtk
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Focus Punch
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Thunder

Awesome late-game sweeper.
FP > EQ imo, since FP is the only real reason to use Draggy over Mence.

I think I have a rather huge Suicune weak, and Zapdos+Boah usually takes this team down as well, but meh, every team has weaknesses. =/

- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin

EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 168 Def / 72 SAtk
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Earthquake

Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)Adament would work good here.
- Earthquake
- Agility
- Meteor Mash
- Explosion
Agility to help out its speed.Earthquake for a good physical attack and Explosion for when low on life just explode to do some major damage.

Dragonite (F) @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 52 HP / 240 Atk / 68 Spd / 148 SAtk
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)Adament or Lonley would work good too.
- Dragon Dance
- Focus Punch/Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]/Aerial Ace
- Thunder/Thunderbolt
Few changes here.Aerial Ace would work here to.It never misses but lacks power of 55 IIRC.Earthquake could work there too.Its a good physical move.Thunderbolt if u like accuracy.Your choices.

Awesome late-game sweeper.

Changes are in bold. You have quite a bit of lightning weakness. Some pokemon lack speed though because if there natures.Your right every team has some type of weakness.Good team you got there.

LOL Impish nature on Cloyster.

Alot of people have been using Giga Drain Gengar lately, so don't let Swampert fall to Gengar. If it does, then HP Ice Zapdos will utterly rape you.

aipomkong

prophecy fulfilled
those snorlax evs are horrible

enough for 496 hp / 300 attack / 182 satk / rest in SDef

and use Fire Blast over Thrower.

Thrower needs too many evs to 2hko skarm, while FB 2hko's every time with about 48 satk evs

I had Fire Blast over F-thrower originally, but it ****ing missed every single time against Gengars, which I couldn't afford to happen. (and Sleep Talk Lax is the only safe switch-in against them in the current metagame imo) Granted, it's a waste of EVs this way, but meh. =/

Edit: Now that I think about it, I don't need to 2hko Skarm, since everything on the team can hit it hard 'cept for Metagross. It just needs to do over 25% damage to Gengars with Flamethrower, which, according to the calculations, it can manage to do with a 182 SAtk stat, if Gengar has no HP/SDef EVs. So, fine, using those EVs then.
