Humans are tools
His johto team had potential but in the end it was underpowered only heracross and quilava were good fighters, his team should be something like this-
Typhlosion, Meganium, Donphan, Heracross, Tyranitor, Totodile, Espeon

How is Kalos his strongest regional Team? Literally 2 Ash's Pokémon don't have a legit win during the Kalos League, the only 2 strong Pokémon for that team are Pikachu and Greninja

Thank you. His alola team was more balanced and instead of just Pikachu and the ace, all his mons were developed as strong.

Strongest =/= balanced. Look at comment above. And Talonflame BTW.
Kalos is the strongest regional team than SM is thanks to Pikachu with 10MV( but without Z move, DP would be second, maybe even BF is there high up).If we count BF team as BW Charizard and DP Sceptile than BF team is second(no matter if SM Pikachu uses Z move).
But balance is SM, DP team, AG team,Johto team.

Winning isn't the only way to prove your strength. It's also about performance in battle

Yes, and Goodra tied and lost in a very bad way against Sawyer's Slurpuff (his weakest Pokemon) and Alain's Bisharp respectively.
Noivern tied and lost against Saywer's Salamence in a good way and Alain's Weavile in a bad way respectively.

But, Melmetal lost against Gladion's Silvally in a good way, won against Kukui's Empoleon, and lost against Kukui's Incineroar, his strongest Pokémon.
And Naganadel won against Kukui's Lucario, and lost against Tapu Koko in a good way.

People are looking more at this:
Goodra managed to tie against Slurpuff, a Fairy type that uses Flamethrower, or rather, Goodra's two biggest fears. Yet in spite of that and not battling for about 60 episodes, it still tied, especially when half its moveset was restricted (we have no way of telling if Slurpuff is truly his weakness). Likewise, Bisharp was the worst possible matchup for Goodra due to his slow bulk up against Guillotine, but he managed to deal enough damage and set up a Rain Dance that allowed Greninja to mop up Bisharp in one hit.

Likewise, Noivern was a Pokemon that had problems flying when we first met him...yet he showed mastery of the skies against Salamence, at least to being able to tie, when both sides were taking double damage. He did take the fall against Weavile (which does have a 4x weakness), but that all served to power up Hawlucha.

The Kalos team worked better as a cohesive *team* than on necessarily their individual merits (though 2/3 of their individual merits are also pretty strong).

Likewise, the biggest problem with rating any of Ash's SM team against Kukui though is how featless everyone but Incineroar is. Lucario literally just jobbed a few episodes prior, and Empoleon had never even been seen before, same with Venasaur. So it's hard to actually test how strong they are, especially when 90% of the SM teams feats come from the League itself (in fact Naganadel's only battle was Kukui) so there's no comparison that we can make there, and the Kukui battle didn't really focus on any character moments since they'd had them all prior, save for Torracat.

You can said the same with Sawyer's Slurpuff, he NEVER WON any battle onscreen, so yeah...Goodra sucked against this Slurpuff, who is clearly the weakest of the Sawyer's Pokémon.
And the weakness aren't a decissive factor especially in the Pokémon anime, Weavile won against Noivern because he was stronger than Noivern, who is the weakest of the Kalos Team.

EDIT: Same problem with Alain, who also revealed 4 new Pokémon exclusive for battling Ash in the final battle

You mean the Slurpuff that Sawyer tactically used to force Tierno to switch his Raichu out and tip his entire team to him, allowing him to safely pull Sceptile and Lightningrod on the field against said Raichu when it was tagged back in? Like I said, XY was a lot about team synergy than just 1v1s.

And the biggest difference is that Alain wasn't Kukui. He wasn't in almost every episode, so we were pretty much told to judge his team by how his Charizard and Metagross were, which was very strong. Or are you going to discount Paul pulling out Drapion, Frosslass, Gastrodon, Aggron and Ninjask as proof that he was a weak trainer. In either case, we saw a lot of Kukui's Pokemon either job or have no feats, despite him being around for 140 episodes, and unlike Alain, he never actually fought anyone of notable proven strength (Gozu was hardly a threat), which makes it impossible to truly judge his capability as a trainer.

Your posts heavily suggest a certain direction and discount all others, so I think I won't continue this discourse, but I think you're not seeing the forest for the trees here.

Unlike Paul or Kukui, Sawyer was a beginner with less experience in battles than both.
