What about the Revolution?

Is the Revolution neglected?

So I'm browsing in Yahoo! News; and the tech report begins with "So which will rock more? PS3 or Xbox 360?" I replied, "Neither, the Revolution will rock more" as I clicked away.

My question is: Do you feel that the game sites and magazines are neglecting Nintendo in their next gen coverage?

o_O Nintendo has shown next to anything, so stop whining....

Aww... Crap.
Yeah, we only saw the controller about a month ago, so, yeah. We've seen tons of crap about the 360 and PS3...so...uh...yeah.

Revolution apparantly isn't even it's final name. We don't know it's specs, we don't know what it's capable of, we don't know what games will be for it, and the controller they showed isn't even the absoloute final design. So yeah. With the Xbox less than 2 weeks away, it's no suprise Nintendo is being left out.

lol they should be included though people have played a remake of metroid prime 2 basically (not fully) for the revolution and people (not just nintendo) have got to play it while ps3 on the other hand hasn't been touched by the public

My family members are console freaks and we'll be prolly buying new consoles as out old ones are beginning to fail from much use. I will be comparing the 360 to the other consoles when I get them so stay tuned.

It is bleeding annoying when Nintendo gets shunted to the back for no reason whats so ever. But, for me it doesn't really matter. I mean, the people who will be inteligent enough to buy the Revolution are the people who know about it regardless on how much publicity Nintendo gets.

There IS a reason for it, and a fairly good one at that.
And it's questionable how intelligent it is to pledge complete loyalty a console that we know next to nothing about.

I would have thought that they aren't counting the Revoulution is because Nintendo isn't particapating in the console wars.

Because the other two are considered mainstream, while Nintendo isn't. That's in addition to the limited info on the console and its games, and that the 360 is coming out very soon.

People neglect Nintendo alltogether. I asked a boy in class today about what he thaught of the Revolution. He replied "I've never heard of it. If its not PS3 or the 360 I don't care".

Nintendo is being secretive. Me and my friend have been discussing it alot and we believe Nintendo has something big up its sleeve.

Nintendo has said nothing. Zip. Nada.

Out of curiousity, who here is considering on buying the Revolution, and the Revolution ONLY? All my friends are planning to buy a Rev, but they're also getting a PS3 or X-box 360 also. What I mean is selling off a Revolution for every PS3/360 doesn't make it particularly groundbreaking, thus the media is all like 'aw well, forget it then.'
