Tonari no Seki-kun is genius. I was almost as engrossed in Seki's performance as Yokoi was!

I was interested in Wizard Barristers because I really liked the idea of crimes being solved using logic that wouldn't necessarily apply to the real world due to the existence of some really inventive spells, but if the first episode is anything to go by, that's not what this series is going for. Not that the show isn't bad, but it's very actiony, and it looks like corruption and discrimination could be major factors. I will continue to watch, but with trepidation.

Noragami was completely off my radar, but I've loved these first two episodes. I guess the main reason is because Yato and Hiyori are very likable and have fantastic chemistry. Very well paced so far, too. What a pleasant surprise.

I kind of want to watch something else, but I'm not 100% sure. There's Monogatari, but someone on these forums dropped a massive spoiler for the series, and that has dampened my enthusiasm to catch up. I'll wait until Crunchyroll has the whole thing.

Mmm... I've been considering that. I have this prejudice against P.A. Works, though, in that I expect everything they do to be drowning in angst or inner monologue (although The Eccentric Family wasn't too overbearing... there was still a lot of inner monologue, though).

While it certainly does seem to have some angst, episode 13 was amazing and set up a great plot for the second half. If it ends well, it might be better than The Eccentric Family in my eyes. It had a lot of good set up for the first half, and the first episode of the second half is using that set up really well

Your sig basically sums up my reaction. Figured it would come out this year, but it's a little earlier than I thought. I just need to set aside two hours to watch the second movie like I should've a long time ago, and then I'll be able to watch the third sometime before my birthday.

Smile Precure- 48/48 (COMPLETE)

Loved the cast, the moral lessons, the plot, the action scenes and Joker who made for one hell of an entertaining villain. Dipped a little too long in the angst pool for my liking (Last episode had way too much crying) but I like the basic idea of having to sink into the depths of despair to achieve true happiness.

Overall, it's fantastic stuff. Not as good as Heartcatch but definitely one of the better seasons I've seen and a good place for newcomers of the franchise to start.
