Watched a lot of anime with my friend today, some we just got around to finally finishing.

 

[Kutie Pie]

For the past few weekends (or weeks, however you want to see it), I was watching Kanon with my mom. We finished the last disk tonight, and though she didn't mind the show (I think she might've gotten emotionally attached to a couple of the characters), she said it probably should've had a junk bear xD. Or if it turned out that Yuuichi was a psychotic boy all along and had killed all of the girls and so he's hallucinating it all, I don't remember how she phrased it. So most likely she prefers CLANNAD over Kanon, which I'm fine with. She didn't ask too many questions while watching, though she made comments to prove she was paying attention. And those comments were the ones that almost immediately after she noted, Yuuichi would lampshade it/bring it up. Not sure if she caught on to it (most likely she did), but I find it funny either way.

I think she finds it cliché, I'm not sure, though I wouldn't be that surprised since she calls CLANNAD a soap opera. *shrugs* Eh. Still don't regret getting it for Christmas.

Starting to go through my backlog of shows I missed while they aired: starting with Joshiraku. Kumeta is the best at writing characters talking about nothing. All the characters so far are really cute, animation is satisfying, lots of laughs, just a joy. So I'm enjoying it. Also such a good ending.

Oh man, I was just waiting for something like this to happen in Kill la Kill, and it happened in a really dramatic way (not that I expected anything less)! It's difficult for me to find things to say about this series because it's consistently been fantastic.

I was nearly in tears during the robot song in Tonari no Seki-kun. This show is something else.

Chu2Koi REN, on the other hand, is not as much fun as the first season. I feel like it lacks imagination.
