imari nagakura does resemble asuna yuuki from sao, hence their vas are exactly the same - i wonder if this is coincidence or not

Ah, Cardcaptor Sakura. I haven't seen that show for years, so it might be worth revisiting it. From what I remember, it was pretty cool.

I'm getting back into Ranma ½, especially now that I finally bought the first season on DVD when I recently went to Half-Price. The DVD's been there for a while, and since it was the President's Day weekend sale, and I had the money (and 20% off coupon) on me, I decided to buy it. I'm sure that no matter what I'll end up buying the more recent DVD boxset sometime in the future, though I don't know what I plan to do with this 2009 DVD release. I might keep it regardless, depends on if the other discs will work (one of them looked like there might be problems to it, but I won't know until I pop it in).

Another (supernatural, mystery horror)
gokoku no Brynhildr- supernatural, more on scifi side but they have a no problem with showing gore in battle scenes or on extra characters
Shiki- horror, mystery, psychological, supernatural

i was also going to suggest Okaimi kakushi and Higurashi but jb beat me to the punch. both Another and Shiki have the same type of pacing and mystery as Okami Kakushi though Another is a bit more light hearted at time VS Kakushi. Byrnhilder has a mystery aspect to it regarding the source of their powers and there are some ruthless characters on the opposing side.

i didnt much like Pupa, it was too short of a series. any regular ep that doesnt pass 7 minutes in length doesnt get my attention much. i do have to say all those extra sounds in Pupa were a bit disturbing for me.
