The last two shows have become more enjoyable with each passing episode. Arslan Senki has dramatically improved since its first two episodes and so did Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, I'm thrilled it's getting a second season. It's just a fun and enjoyable series.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 - 4/11
I started Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 last night, and wow it does an amazing job at showing you the terrors of what it's like to experience a powerful earthquake. Especially with the recent events with Nepal, I feel like I can understand the seriousness the issue is. The anime so far has done a great job at leaving me in a sort of cold sweat within just the first few episodes. I've never experienced a natural disaster (I think the worst one I can experience is a tornado based on where I live), so seeing what they'd be like and how people would react in accordance to the disaster is really interesting and terrifying at the same time. My only gripe about the anime is Mirai's character. She needs to realize she's still a kid and needs to rely on an adult's help in times of crisis like these. Major props to Mari for being the most levelheaded and positive character in the anime.

I started Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 last night, and wow it does an amazing job at showing you the terrors of what it's like to experience a powerful earthquake. Especially with the recent events with Nepal, I feel like I can understand the seriousness the issue is. The anime so far has done a great job at leaving me in a sort of cold sweat within just the first few episodes. I've never experienced a natural disaster (I think the worst one I can experience is a tornado based on where I live), so seeing what they'd be like and how people would react in accordance to the disaster is really interesting and terrifying at the same time. My only gripe about the anime is Mirai's character. She needs to realize she's still a kid and needs to rely on an adult's help in times of crisis like these. Major props to Mari for being the most levelheaded and positive character in the anime.
