Arslan Senki was a pain to watch every week. That ending was lame. If Arslan's to be a legend, he needs to fight his cousin, and get his pretty ass injured. Lose an eye, an arm, a leg, anything. Not looking forward to another season if there's going to be one.

Monster Musume wasn't that bad. It became rather repetitive I think after the half-way point and it stopped being fresh, but at least the characters were likable.

Gangsta had great promise, but it lost its footing somewhere with the pacing and characters. It was still enjoyable for what it was, a breath of fresh air in the pool of high school moeblobs, but I just am not a fan of the last few episodes. Was almost kinda dull.

I'm watching Eureka Seven and I'm only halfway through the fourth episode and I already really like it. Eureka 7 is anime original, I believe. I know the anime and the manga started the same year so the anime was in production a while before the manga was being written. Also, anime differ from source material all the time now. Kekkai Sensen is a good example, and one of the best examples. After like, the 2nd episode, the anime introduced characters not in the manga, and most of the episodes are anime original. But the manga has also been around since 2009, so that was a choice of the writers, and the anime didn't really suffer like some anime do, which sometimes directly contradict the source.

Binge watched Food Wars since I am a sucker for anything cooking and I have to say, it was great. Only got better as time went on.

Can't believe so few people here aren't giving it a go.

I've read the manga for 2 years? now, and I didn't really want to watch the anime because there were other things airing that interested me more

I kind of like how Charlotte ended. Not the ending I wanted, but I'll take it.

I absolutely adored Tasogare Otome x Amnesia! Such a good cast of characters, but more importantly Yuuko. My god, Yuuko was awesome. I love her character to death (heh).

Ah, one of Hana's best scenes was animated in Prison School. But alas, she has a better scene later on, and the ending was left open for a season 2, so I'm praying they continue it someday.

"I had low expectations going in, but after seeing the episode I actually felt the need to comment on it someplace.

The animation was beautiful and I friggen love the effects so far, the particle flowing out and the fire , just hnnnnng.

And while it feels cliche (and had to pause and groan at the boob grab, not to mention the walk in scene) the characters don't seem necessarily dumb, I even enjoyed the first battle they had with her guessing what the main character was going to do. (I had the exact same guess as to his actions, and then he pulled a move out) Along with showing both our main character motivations right from the beginning. (Or at least giving one, and implying another.)

not to mention Julis is a lot cuter in the anime then she was in the PV I saw. God it just looks so pretty...


So you know, its not too bad. I think part of this came from my insanely low expectations, but I overall surprisingly enjoyed it."

man food wars was amazing. It's just so much fun, and I give it props just for that. The anime leaves just enough to discuss about the characters too, without losing its focus on food porn.
I won't read the manga, its too much fun to watch in the anime format, I hope the next season comes out soon.

I feel ya. It's hard to find those who are snug in the middle of everything. I think what makes it a little worse is the amount of bashing dubs tend to get, even though there's so few dubs that deserve the flack. Things just get blown out of proportion, it's almost hard to take things seriously while still keeping the fun.

Ninja Slayer... when I was all excited for the final battle they pull this stunt. I kinda love them for it.

One-Punch Man and a perfect first episode but they won't be able to keep this movie-like quality for the whole season, right?

Owarimonogatari was actually really good. Like I went into this thinking "here we go, another long winded Monogatari series thing to sit through" but the twist was I actually found this episode to be interesting. I feel like I haven't been drawn into a Monogatari episode like this in a long time, so I'm glad. That said, I miss when the OPs weren't just the feature animated character and the rest just CG nonsense. There used to be a lot more hand-drawn animation going on.

Hmm... I hear a lot of things about One Punch Man being amazing and all, but in all honesty, I didn't enjoy that first episode. I don't really have an explanation as to why, it just didn't sit well with me.

I'm kind of hoping Heavy Object will be like Aldnoah.Zero (season 1, mind you) in which it'll actually make me really enjoy and be excited for a genre I normally hate. Heavy Object just looked kinda similar in vibe, so that's why I picked it up.

I bought To LOVE-Ru on DVD the other day, so that explains why I'm rewatching it after 3 years. It's kind of funny seeing how vastly different the show was back then compared to now. Plus, that opening! I forgot how much of a tease it was!
