Higurashi is on a rewatch for two reasons: I signed up for the 2016 Anime Watching Challenge on MAL and "rewatch an anime" is one of the challenges, and my friend hasn't seen it yet, so we're watching it together and it's glorious. Haven't had this much fun cackling over someone's confusion since my own brother watched it. He seems to be liking it, though.
Looks like Winter 2016 is starting off nicely, but we'll see how it holds up. I'm getting tired of pretty animation >>> story/characters, so this season better not disappoint. Phantom World is directed by one of KyoAni's best directors, so it should be in good hands; Prince of Stride was actually really fun to watch (and it's about running), the art direction made me think of Meganebu!, but luckily I've yet to want to claw my eyes out; and with Haruchika, I liked this first episode better than Hibike! Euphonium's first episode, fight me.
