I just finished Your Lie In April (22 episodes excluding the OVA). I recommend everyone to watch this anime. The writing is incredible, the animation is crisp and beautiful. The story progresses mesmerizingly and the finale will blow you away.

I didn't find Kayo to be a very compelling character in Erased, quite frankly. She is pretty bland and doesn't even get many lines of any substance. Just being an abuse victim doesn't make you interesting, I'm sorry.
Of course the murder mystery part was really weak too, but that goes without saying.

In all honesty, from everything I've completed so far, Erased was definitely the best this season. It's not perfect at all, there's some problems with it, but it was the most enjoyable, I didn't think the twist was out-of-place (maybe it should've been handled a little better?), and it will probably be the most memorable from this season. I'm still legitimately surprised A-1 Pictures did it, this wasn't something I would've ever expected from them.
I'll read the manga some time once this has all sunk in. Don't want to make comparisons too quickly.
But the season overall has been "okay". It's a step up from last season, but it's been "okay". I'm still backing up my claim the CGI looks a lot better this season, I haven't seen a lot of cringe CGI yet from the winter line-up.

On Monday night I caught up with the newest episodes of Musaigen no Phantom World, Gintama, Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut and Mahoutsukai Precure. Now I just need to watch the latest One Piece and Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm episode and I'll be caught up on anime for the week. ^^
