What anime are you watching thread 2.0 ~ Now with more upcoming weeaboo nonsense.

This sends me...
Will write a full seasonal first impression later, but my highlight for this season is already picked. And its a pretty popular pick since this is one of the anime outside of the obvious candidates with the biggest audiences and its Takopi's Original Sin.

One of the most disturbing newcomer of the year but without a doubt the most emotional and the most life questioning anime yet this year. What really sticks out is how unpredictable it is and how well it uses its shock factors to make viewer rethink certain subjects in life. Its not the typical bully plot you see in many anime or even games, but it goes much deeper. Every episode of the three released yet left me with an impression and I was thinking about a lot things that happened during these episodes while the endings were scrolling. It hits in the right spots but without being an unnecessary horror trip. The way the anime uses sound elements, closeups etc. makes it even more impactful. You'll see what I mean watching the first episode, which also surpassed Solo Leveling in TV rating.

It'll only have six episodes and I wished there is more, but it was probably mandatory since I heard the manga isn't quite that far progressed yet. If you can handle very dark themes then go for it, I can absolutely recommend it.

Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon S2 has begun (english dubbed). The most unique, and also most bizarre, isekai is back. Is it dumb? Sure in many ways it is. But do I get a bizarre kind of enjoyment out of it? Yes. Yes I do.

Season 2 of Go! Go! Loser Ranger and I'm absolutely gobsmacked at how hard Yostar Pictures have dropped the ball.

I had really enjoyed the first season a lot (great dub too though with NYAV Post involved that's pretty much expected) but this is an absolute mess with mediocre animation and once they reach the halfway point the pacing just goes straight to hell, never stopping for even a second and rushing through so much material that I no longer care about these characters or the events unfolding. To be quite frank I would suggest reading the manga instead because I don't think I'll be bothering with the third season if they make one.

Hey everyone! Here’s what I’ve been watching lately:
  • Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is wild—love how the animation and fight choreography keep leveling up. The Shibuya Incident arc absolutely broke my expectations.
  • Rewatched Attack on Titan Final Season—still so intense, especially those final battle reveals.
  • Just started Mashle—it’s goofy, bizarre, and totally unexpected. Fits perfectly between bingeing heavier shōnen.
Would love to compare notes if anyone else is keeping up with Jujutsu Kaisen manga—anything past Volume 15 (where the Culling Game is underway) is packed with character twists and major power-ups from Gojo, Yuji, and even Megumi.
What are you all watching? Any predictions for next season or favorite fight scenes so far?

Blue Exorcist S3 (Shimane Illuminati Saga) has begun. I'm watching the Toonami airing. Intriguing start so far honestly. Either way... this is clearly going to be a 'season-to-season' situation. I still feel like inevitably they'll quit airing the newer seasons.

I’ve been busy for with other things in my life so I stopped binging anime outside of a film occasionally. So I watched a few series for the first time in long time during Labor Day Weekend.

I watched seasons 3 and 4 of Demon Slayer to get ready for the first Infinity Castle film coming to my theater next week. And I also watched Takopi’s Original Sin. Man that series was heavy.

Finished watching Dandadan's Season 2. It ended with a bang! (...Literally.)

Still watching past 20 episode of Apothecary Diaries.

...I've yet to see her writing on a diary, though.

EDIT: Cancelled by Hulu subscription but managed to watch all of AD.

So now retreating to Netflix to watch Sakamoto Days and resume Pokemon: Horizons from Katy's episode.

Spy x Family S3 and MHA Final Season have both begun english dubbed. Spy x Family always starts out slow but I'm committed to this series at this point. Considering how the last season ending... MHA Final Season is already off to an AMAZING start.

I decided to try out With You, Our Love Will Make It Through. What? You can't watch serious **** all of the time. It's fine to watch a slice of life like thing every once in awhile. Besides... I need a Beastars replacement while I wait for Final Season Part 2 okay? and it's honestly kind of funny. and some of the small plot points are honestly kind of intriguing to me and I kind of want to know more about them. It's basically Beastars so far honestly lol. Except if it was from Haru's perspective and if she was a human. Without all the villains I guess. kind of unfortunate honestly

How did I find out about this anime? Don't worry about it.

I also decided to try watching Twisted Wonderland (Episode of Heartslabyul). It seems to basically be isekai Harry Potter with Disney characters and villains portrayed as human versions lol.

But I kind of enjoyed it. I think that's all that matters

Started Twisted Wonderland today and already off to a great start for me. Love the idea of having these characters based off of iconic Disney villains. Grim is such a fun cheeky ****.

And what a cast NYAV have assembled too. Think this'll be the big show for me for the rest of this year.
