I finished Magic User's Club (TV) today. It was nice.

True Love Never Dies
Finished:

Black Butler
Shingeki no Kyojin
Spice & Wolf (enjoyed it so much this makes the 2nd run-through)

Still on/picked up:

Golden Time
Girls Bravo (soon to be dropped)
Free! (The fandom sucked me in)
Claymore
Gunslinger Girl

There are a few others I may return to, but purely for nostalgia. I mainly went on what's hot now simply to see what's up. All the ones I finished were enjoyable, and I'm hoping for a new season to come out soon.

You're right around the point where I just stopped caring and turned a ultra cynical. In a more meta way, things just got too over the top to take seriously. Episode 37 is pretty cool though.

I'll be honest, a few things here and there aren't done well anymore. But this is one of the few series where the death of a character that I don't really have great feelings about can actually make me feel sad.

Dammit, it really need to get around to watching iDOLM@STER at some point... I don't know why I kept thinking it dealt with mecha-related stuff when it's clearly not.

Street Fighter II is cool, it really is, and the movie is well-animated for 1994 (and it does have that 90s animated feel to it anyway), but... it was long and hard to sit through last night. I'm obviously not a fan of action movies, particularly fighting movies like martial arts and the like (so yeah... haven't really sat down to watch a Jackie Chan movie even though my dad is a big fan of Jackie Chan). I guess I'm really one for the plot, and if it's just about fighting that surrounds this plot, whatever it was, that bores me--unless they do something cool with it, which was probably why I enjoyed Kung Fu Panda so much if only because they took breaks for the characters. I chose to watch it dubbed, so I derped around the Internet here and there when the fight scenes were dragging. (At least I learned where Bennett the Sage got the theme music for Anime Abandon from.)

And I plan to watch Street Fighter II V with my brother since he requested Street Fighter for... whatever reason. I don't know how I'm going to survive that, but at least the episodes are all twenty minutes each. Might tackle it three episodes at a time, maybe four if I want to finish it all sometime next week.

I'm finding Wizard Barristers kind of dull. I've felt this way about certain shows before and given them more of a chance, but thinking back, none of them were that good in the end. So I figure I should just drop Wizard Barristers now.

So far, Sakura Trick is a cute and fun show, and it's refreshing that it doesn't hold back on the yuri or play around with subtext that never goes anywhere.

I will get back to Shigofumi one of these days!

You think that way because Sunrise love adding mecha to ****. Thankfully A-1 Pictures came along and did the show properly.

And yeah, you should go watch it. If only to get to episode 20.

Katz, go away.

Because, with few exceptions (all fairly recent iirc), their mecha shows are good. Not always Gintama-good, but still good.

While I don't disagree, but what should've been a simple show about idols was neither the time or place to shove in mecha. Something like Valvrave even managed to be better than Xenoglossia, that's how bad the show was handled.
