Ugh, took a month to complete Street Fighter II V, but it was a pain. The only thing I got out of it was that M. Bison orgasms everytime Ryu shoots off his Hadouken, and that there are some really unintentionally-hilarious facial expressions later on in the anime. You can really tell they didn't have a good budget for this one; half of episode 23 was a recap.
I obviously enjoyed the animated movie more than the series, if only because it showed lots of fighting like its namesake. The anime stopped being Street Fighter and became more of a weird martial arts plot that took strange turns that really didn't add up to me.
Also, we never saw Chun-Li's father wake up from his coma. She got screwed over, if you ask me, especially since she became useless after the Vega arc. Then she, like, became M. Bison's play-thing despite being 15 here--M. Bison is a sick, creepy bastard.
So glad it's over with...
