Nothing much at this point, just trying to clear my list, and I went with Rolling Girls this time. It's boring, ugh. I didn't even watch it half the time, I just played it in the background while I did something else, and just glanced over at times. What a waste.

As for Love Hina, gwaaaaaaaaaaah what have I done. My friend and I are planning on watching Tenchi Muyo alongside it just to balance it out. We hadn't started it yet because I wanted to figure out (and find) the order of what to watch, or at least in terms of release date. We'll be starting it tomorrow, though.

Finished Baby Steps season 1 yesterday. I've had those last 5 episodes hanging around like a month now, I didn't have much time for anime last month because of my summer job. But now I finished the series and even wrote a blog post about it. Yay me. While writing, I noticed how awesome some of the supporting characters were in the series.

Yesterday I started Sound! Euphonium and I've watched 8 episodes so far. I think I'm going to finish this tomorrow. The series has been really good so far, I wasn't expecting anything from it. I hope it stays enjoyable to the final.

Now we're totally not done with Love Hina just yet (still got its movies and Love Hina Again left), but wow was that a boring one. There were some moments that were somewhat tolerable (even got a small chuckle out of me), and Motoko still proved to be the best girl even though she became boring after a while, but everything about it was just really uninteresting or irritating. My friend hates it more than me, and I think he secretly curses me for getting him to sit and watch it. (His least favorite thing about it is Naru, and I agree that she's one of the worst, although equally-annoying characters came in around the halfway point.)

I'm still confused as to how this got to be popular out here. Someone explained it for why it was popular in Japan, but I don't know how it got popular over here in America.

If I had to guess, its popularity in the US came around due to the manga writer's next series, and most popular work, Mahou Sensei Negima. Don't quote me on this, but people probably wanted to check out his other works, and that may be why Love Hina is popular. Of course, I'm probably wrong

I want to say that sounds about right, but looking it up, the Mahou Sensei Negima manga didn't come to the States until 2004. Both anime and manga of Love Hina came out here in 2002. Must've been strictly word of mouth, then and thirteen-year-old boys. But maybe its popularity spiked around 2004. *shrugs* Either way, it went up against InuYasha, and I heard more about that show as a teenager than I did Love Hina.

I noticed that too. Maybe a combination of Mahou Sensei Negima and that it was probably babies first harem at the time, seeing as Gundam Seed, Dragon Ball Z, etc. were popular at the time.

For those of you who were at least 5 in 2000, you may remember the original Beyblade series. I started watching it not too long ago and I think its really good. Likeable charecters, believable conflicts, charecter depth and growth, so if you're reading this and are interested in something new, maybe you should check it out. Contrary to what I thought at first, its existence isn't so they can get kids to buy toys completly.

Psycho-Pass: The Movie - 1/1 - COMPLETED -

Finally got round to watching the Psycho Pass movie. It was an enjoyable watch. I loved seeing my favorite duo, Akane/Shinya, together again and I like that the movie toyed with the idea that perhaps the Sybil System isn't so bad by contrasting Japan to outside countries in state of chaos and distress.

This story is definitely not over yet. Here's hoping we get another movie or a season.

All this progression in relationships just drives home the point even more that Working!!! is ending, and it makes me sad. I'm going to miss it.

I love it actually. It feels good to be getting a real conclusive ending, and I felt that way since season 3 was announced. Much better than getting left in the pile of non-concluded anime romances... *coughservantxservicecough*

I do like the progression that we are getting, and I can agree it is much better than being left with an unresolved romance. I still feel sad that the series is ending because of how much of loved all three seasons so far. There is a short bit of sequel manga, so hopefully we can get an OVA or two out of it before it's done for good.

WORKING!! THE MOVIE COMING SOON CONFIRMED CONFIRMED*

That moment where "it" finally happened, just seeing all characters overjoyed was the best part. It felt like they were really a family, and seeing them all so happy for each other was really special. Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely miss the series too.
