Eternal Darkness
Eternal Evil
I'm watching Eureka Seven and I'm only halfway through the fourth episode and I already really like it. It really differs from the manga and I can't tell if it was the mangaka's wishes or he got scammed by the company making it. Either way, it's heaps good and the un-accurate-ness doesn't bother me at all. I actually prefer having two different versions. I recommend this anime so bad if you're into mecha or just really deep plots.
Eureka 7 is anime original, I believe. I know the anime and the manga started the same year so the anime was in production a while before the manga was being written. Also, anime differ from source material all the time now. Kekkai Sensen is a good example, and one of the best examples. After like, the 2nd episode, the anime introduced characters not in the manga, and most of the episodes are anime original. But the manga has also been around since 2009, so that was a choice of the writers, and the anime didn't really suffer like some anime do, which sometimes directly contradict the source.
Binge watched Food Wars since I am a sucker for anything cooking and I have to say, it was great. Only got better as time went on.
Can't believe so few people here aren't giving it a go.
I've read the manga for 2 years? now, and I didn't really want to watch the anime because there were other things airing that interested me more
