Double Team is banned because it relies on luck to be used, and mostly not skilled. Some say it is uncounterable. The only counters it has is haze, those 60 bp moves that never miss, and luck. The best double teamers can rip apart hazers by taunting or just by power (like zapdos thunderbolt on crobat).
