What are the chances of getting a shiny?

I have got 2 shinys (LOL) Shedinja and Ninjask! :p:p:p:p

.... If you're nincada is shiny, then both ninjask AND shedinja are shiny too? Sweeet! I have: a shiny tangela, haryama, and a beedrill! (Oh, and a gyrados too! : )

i have a shiny whismur, 2 wingulls ( actually one evolved so...), and a shiny carvanha. kool i noticed i have 4 lol
