Well Yami Yugi shouldn't really be a surprise as I have put him in my elaborate lists in various categories that I've given from time to time lol. I was expecting you to point out Kurisu as a surprise in my collage lol. :p

Heine Rammsteiner is a fan-favorite, one of the main characters from the Dogs: Bullets & Carnage manga. He has appeared in an OVA but I'd recommend the manga because the OVA just does not capture the energy and intensity of the manga. Well anyways, Heine is a pretty complex character and you can really see it in the artwork where his different facial expressions give off different vibes which I think perfectly captures the character because you never truly tell what he's thinking. There are times he looks cocky and wild, serious and troubled, tired and just wondering what he's going to do next. I don't know if this was intentional but I think it captures the fact that Heine is more or less sane in the same way Guts is in Berserk. The man is a caring and gentle figure with a sarcastic attitude who can turn instantly violent if something bad happens to those who he cares about. Not only that but he has Gynophobia. For those who don't know what Gynophobia is, it's a fear of women, and he instantly turns from calm and snarky to horrified, angry and disturbed whenever a girl touches him and that's part of his character arc, where did this fear of women came from and how does he confronts it. It also doesn't help that, similar to Guts's Beast of Darkness, he has his own super-powered evil berserker side in the form of a malicious hound where he goes trigger-happy with beast-like expressions, hence a nod to the title "Dogs: Bullets & Carnage".

My top choices of my favorite anime characters. I do not have a top ten, because with my age, I am not watching much anime lately.

1. Dorumon- Digimon X-Evolution- a young Digimon in the CGI movie back in 2005, that gets treated as a virus, and gets captured and release by Yggdrasil. Unknown to Yggdrasil, Dorumon's mega forum is the leader of the Royal Knights, Alphamon.

2. Lio Convoy- Beast Wars 2- The leader of the Maximals in the Japanese only Beast Wars 2 show. He transform to a white lion.

3. Faye Valentine- Cowboy Bebop- this girl is very hot in more then 1 reason. I love how they showcase her character.

4. Speed Racer- Speed Racer- A oldie, buy goldie. I always loved to watch this anime series. Speed Racer is one of the animes that I grew up watching when I was young.

5. Honey Kisaragi- Cutie Honey- a young android girl who discover that her father was killed for jewels.

6. Astro Boy- Astro Boy- a young android boy that was built to replace a doctor's son who was killed in a car accident.

7. Leo- Jungle Taitie- it is shows that a white lion name Leo who lost his parents at a young age and grow up without a family.

8. Rito Yūki- To Love-Ru- a 15 year old boy who try to convince a girl that he loves her, just to go threw misdeeds in his way.

9. Omegamon X- Digimon X-Evolution- a anti-hero until the very end, where he help Alphamon defeat Death-Xmon.

10. Edward Elric- Full Metal Alchemist- A strong alchemist that travel around. He is the youngest alchemist ever to be a state alchemist.
