What colour is Mew?

In the Pokemon merchandise (dolls, toys, etc), Mew appears to be pink in colour but in the movies, Mew appears to be white to me. So what colour is Mew?

Mew is a very light pink. I think the coloring is more like grey mixed with pink.
But it's true; I mean, in Stadium, for example, Mew was really white, with pink-tipped feet and tail, but in the GB/GBA games, Mew is completely pink. In the movie, Mew wasn't really white, but not exacctly pink either. Just grey mixed in with some pink.

I don't think many people here will end up saying Mew is really any color other than pink...

I think Mew is both white and pink. It's like the Lati pokemon, when they turn their fur a certain way, it changes color and refracts light. But that's just what I think.

Yes, obviously Mew is pink, it's shiny version is sort of blue, and this isn't the place to ask for a trainer card, go to the Fanart Requests Forum at the bottom of the main page.

Some of the Pokédex entries mention thin fur, so my theory is that the fur is white, but when it turns a certain way, you can see its pink skin.

....Actually, an admin saw this already and left it alone. >>;; But Mew is light pink, not white. The games made Mew more pink than not, and indeed, the shiny Mew is blue. Mew is indeed pink, in the movies and games. I suppose it is easily mistaken as white, but if you look at how white really looks, Mew is not it.

How about first searching more graphic evidence on Mew being white or pink? For one thing, my avatar shows Mew as pink with its pink shades.


And I certainly hope the below post doesn't apply to me. Mew may have confused some, but it doesn't mean it confused everyone. Maybe it should just be concluded as a MIX of colors than just one in specific, kthx.

Would everyone who says "It's Pink, DUHHH! Anyone can figure that out >.>" STFU? I've had some confusion on the changing color of Mew as well.

When Mew debuted, it seemed to be white in the anime, and white with a pink tint in the Sugimori Art [which also had pink paws and tail tip]. The people who do Mew Art and the animators can't seem to agree, even today [Mew is a lightpink/white in the 8th Movie, but deep pink in it's TCG Cards and such].

Another odd thing is Mew was white in the First Pokemon Movie, but Pink in the poster for it

Mew natural color is pink. Can be white when it's using psychic barrier (i'm not sure), or in special case, can be blue (shiny).

mew's pink skin can be seen since it's fur is so thin (the color of it's fur is white) so it is technically white but sometimes it's skin may change to white depending on it's mood
