What did you kick Greevil's butt with?

But anyways, what did you use to beat Greevil, what levels were they, and what did they do (do nothing, kill stuff, do status effects)

Here's mine-

Pandora (Crobat) Level 52- Killed stuff, confuse ray'd to stall.
Zala (Gardevoir) Level 42- Killed the Birds with Thunderbolt.
Scaevola (Sealeo) Level 36- Sat around while I used Hyper Potions.
Mars (Flareon) Level 36- NOTHING!
Beedrill (it has a nickname. I forget) Level 35- NOTHING!
Pend (Sandslash) Level 40- NOTHING!

If you have an empty slot in your party, and you catch Lugia, you'll be able to use it against him. Nintendo even recommends doing that in the guidebook.

Salamence was the shield so I could heal Hikage. Hikage kicked *** and took names by Body Slamming Moltres and Rhydon into Paralise, then biting Rhy down. Snagged Rhy, snagged Moltres, healed Hikage, and took on Exeggutor. One Bodyslam/Paralised-flinch turn later, snagged the WALKING PALM TREE *coughs*

Hikage was still going strong, and easily took on Tauros and Articuno, blasting them both down and Tauros was snagged, leaving Zapdos and Arti. Arti and Zap both tried double attacking Hikage, and even with 'super effective'-ness, Hikage kept surviving with 70 HP and was easily healed up and Leftovers helped, but when Body Slam and Shadow Ball were pp'd down, and Bite/Psychic were too powerfull to take them outta the yellow and into the red, withcalled Hikage, sent out Lapras, and about three turns later in damage, fifteen more with throwing ultra balls/great balls, the last two birds were snagged.

Meaning I was right that I could own the game with an all dark team nearly XD

It's funny that in the second time he's A LOT easier. Evice was much harder even after you snagged his Shadow Pokemon.

Well, I used my whole party (consising of Espeon, Breloom, Walrein, Houndoom, Ampharos, and Lugia) which pretty much died immedietly. The only 2 that came in super handy were Lugia and Ampharos. Lugia was just the tank that absorbed all the Shadow moves that weren't very effective, and Ampharos just Thunder Waved and Thunderpunched them (except for Rhydon. ) Everytime Ampharos would die, I would just revive in Lugia's turn.

So, since I kept just using Ampharos really, the whole battle (which I did end up catching all the Shadow's on the first try. ) ended up being 40 minutes. I think that has to be the longest battle I have ever done before and actually had a purpose.

Can't remember the last 2, but I cought Zapdos in a poke'ball, then caught the rest in the 2nd round and caught Articuno in poke'ball also

Camerupt [Zelos] Level 50 -Rock Slider
Medicham [Medicham] Level 54 -replaced zangoose when it died
Gardevoir [Garde] Level 55 -did nothing
Flygon [Flygon] Level 53 - did nothing and left my party slightly after Greevil
Lugia Level 50- Purified it before I managed to beat Greevil (No masterball used, so I got owned.)

My team was Flareon, Ampharos, Walrein, Gardevoir, Zangoose, and Shadow Lugia. I had to kill most of his pokes because I couldn't snag them all during the battle, and at the end I ended up using Shadow Lugia and Shadow Snorlax for defensives. I only snagged Rhydon and Articuno during the fight.. I'm going to re-face him eventually and snag the rest.

my team was:

lvl 48 jolt-jolteon thunder waved, thunder bolted
lvl 48 doom-houndoom- bite, flamethrowered, solarbeamed
lvl 48 voirre-gardevoir sing, psychic'd
lvl 50 salamence(shadow)- sat around absorbing attacks (very useful!)
lvl 48 loom-breloom- false swiped,headbutted,giga-drained, sky uppercutted
lvl 49 seall-walrein ice beamed, water pulsed, body slammed

that's all i did.

it took me 2 battles to snag them all safely without having to lose potions and stuff.
