What do you NOT want to see in HG/SS?

Worse, no, but equally vexing. A Gamestop event is wonderful, if you have a Gamestop within reasonable distance, and time to make it there, but for those of us who don't have that luxury, it might as well be in Tokyo for all the good it does us. It wouldn't be so bad if the events were held some place that is more readily available, like McDonalds, or Wal Mart, you can't swing a Meowth without hitting one of those, and if they'd have them run for at least a full week so people have more of an opportunity to get there. That's why I'd rather see them start using the WiFi more. Even if you're in the middle of no where Alaska, where your closest neighbor is twenty miles away, as long as you have the internet you can still get whatever Pokemon is up for grabs.

NZ Jirachi will most likely be an event Pokemon in US/EU/AUS etc... via mystery gift too. Darkrai you can get from R2 and i guess at some point they will release the member card via wi-fi for US etc.. and maybe Oak's letter too. So it's only more or less Deoxys,Celebi and Arceus.

I dont really want to see the the old GS TM's, they'll probably be Move Tutors like FR/LG, though I hope they're more like Platinum Move Tutors and you have to pay with something instead of One-Use-Only.

I dont want the exact same Team Rocket story, I want more fleshed out plot, and Silver getting involved more, and I WANT LOOKER!

I dont want to see DPP Pokeballs replace Apricorn balls, but maybe some new balls Kurt can make as well.

You know, I hadn't even considered the possibility of Looker being included. He is an Interpol officer, and Team Rocket is a crime syndicate, though if the games take place at the same exact time, I don't think Looker could be in both Sinnoh as well as Johto and Kanto at the same time.

I dont think there's proof that they take place at the EXACT same time, same year for sure. But either way, Looker is a pretty slick dude. And, hey, Cynthia's in the game, no?

Well, they could always put another Interpol agent to chase over Team Rocket. Still, it would be interesting to see new characters.

Hence the qualifier if. There's also the fact that Jasmine is in Sinnoh as well. The trick is figuring out what takes place and when. Seeing someone like Looker would be cool. Something that's always bugged me about the franchise, is what kind of mother lets their ten year old run around the world, unsupervised, with a bunch of super powered animals that can spit anything from water and ice, to poison, fire, and massive energy beams that would most assuredly kill a human with ease, fighting criminal organizations out to do anything from simply steal Pokemon, to destroy the universe and establish themselves as gods to recreate it in their own image? The revelation of Looker and Interpol makes it seem a little more logical at least. I'd be more inclined to believe a mother would let their child run around like that if she knew there was Interpol watching out for them.

Yeah, but it took a total of 12 years for them to show up though. ;P (Red/Green's release, Platinum's release)

But to get back on topic, I dont want to see the same crappy Gym Leader teams... l=[ Jasmine with two Magnemite and a Steelix... that's a brain buster, what type should I use here? (*cough*ground!*cough*)

- Any 3rd or 4th gen before the National Dex (luckily thats pretty much confirmed)
- Those blasted honey trees
- Low level gyms
- Lack of 2nd gen pokemon

Three things I don't want to see:
- Headbutt trees (they were very anti-climactic, I prefer Honey Trees because they give you six hours to spend outside on walks and with friends)
- The lighter in the Celadon Game Corner removed (it was hilarious to see that in my game)
- A Lance that doesn't use an AR or GS (I like seeing how desperate he is to beat a 10 year old at Pokemon)

Misdreavus, Houndour, Murkrow, etc available post Elite Four (I want them in the first part of the game)
Gym leaders/ Elite Four memebers with 2 of the same pokemon (Jasmine, 2 Magnetons, Claire, 3 Dragonairs, etc)
And that is about it.

Because you can catch multiple Pokemon in a short period of time, instead of waiting six hours for a Pokemon that will probably only be a Wurmple.

I prefer the Honey Trees because I can do other things in-game or in real life without having to worry about catching one species. To each his own and whatnot.
