As stated earlier on page 5, it's not age-restricted, but I also remember my parents telling me that Pokemon is just for seven year-olds that have no life. However, that was three years ago, and everyone that I know now plays Mario, GTA 5 or some other game, but they never mention Pokemon. When they said that, I just ignored them and went away to continue playing through SoulSilver (which I had at the time). To be fair, Pokemon has gotten a bad rep in older age brackets, but what about the other games out there, like Mario? If you go to the PVGWC (Pokemon Video Game World Championships) you'll find that the majority of people there will be adults. Then, there's the other thing as well. Pokemon is just a game. It's just like Mario or Zelda, and it isn't meant for seven year-olds with no life. It's meant for everyone. I mean, there are Japanese players who do nothing but play Pokemon and nothing else all their lives. But I know that there are still Pokemon players of my age out there.
