What do you think about the name "Revolution" now?

You know what I mean, the name before they decided to call it Wii.

For me, it's grown on me, I hated it, but now i like it, but I still like the revolution name better. : p

I love Wii more than Revolution. It clicks more. It's also easier for me to say Wiimote instead of Revmote.

I still think the same way about it. It was a killer name but a hard name to follow. What would the next system's name be? Rev 2? ._.;;; At least Wii is a name that can be changed completely without any loss of ego (Maybe even an ego boost at that...).

Meh, I'll still call it the Revolution. But as I see it, The Big N made a good move. Every system so far with a killer name sucked. Dreamcast, anyone? Genesis? Vectrex? Give it a crap name like 'Wii' and you have an instawin.

yeah. ditto here. at first I thought they had gone totally mad, but now I don't really mind. But Revolution DID sound cooler.

So let me get this straight: You're going to say "You want to play with my [game system]?" instead of saying "You want to play [game]?"? Or better yet, you're not going to put "Nintendo" in front of the system name so she knows what you're talking about? If you didn't, she'd probably think "What's a Wii/Revolution?".

I still think "Wii" is an absolute ****hole of a name. Come to think of it, I also still hate "Twilight Princess" as much as I did a year ago. I mean, as unoriginal as "Playstation 3" is, it still sounds better than Wii. I've gotten past the phase of continuing to call it the Revolution, but I still cringe every time I say "WII!!!"
