What do you think Houndoom should use?

What moveset, nature, and item would you recommend for Houndoom? I want to use one and I need to know what would be best for him.

Yes read the rules xD bla,bla,bla. I will try to help you, but i am not fond to Houndoom and never used it actually on NB, but i think i can kinda figure something out...

Item: I do like Salac berry...and a Timid Nature.

Yeah, that's it, something i consider competitive.
