What do you think should be kept in d/p that was in emerald?

I think they should keep the match call feature, the evolutions (like evolving through trade, and stones, ect.), and they should keep the pokemon center FREE, I heard somewhere that in future games they'd charge for pokemon center use!

They wouldn't get rid of evolutions. Even listing it in something like this makes no sense, along with the thing about PokeCenters not being free. Also, they should keep contests.

Theri has never been any official word on Pokemon Centers charging mone, someone said that on Gamefaqs. That's just dumb, if you lost in the begiining of the game you'd be screwed as you couldn't battle anyone.

I hope that you can't clone pokemon. That's freaking cheap. The only good use for this is cloning Celebi/Deoxys for friends who weren't able to get to a Nintendo event.

Oh, also, I think that they should keep Pokemon. The game wouldn't seem complete without them.

The moving sprites are confirmed in D/P. In the japanese comercial there is a Buizeru spinning his tail

wow, I didn't think people'd respond to my post so quickly! definately keep secret bases! and record trades! I LOVE secret bases! they're so fun to find, decorate and spend money on decorations! and I hope they have somethinf similar to a battle frontier too!

If GameFreak has no problem rehashing the same 8 Gym and Elite 4 quest, (which has gotten beyond boring at this point), the BF returning should be likely.

What is so bad about gyms? I honestly feel excited when facing a gym leader, knowing the challenge to come. Why would they do away with a pile of nostalgic success such as that? If you want a different style of rpg then go rent yourself Colloseum or XD.

@ discussion:I don't think anything exclusive to emerald is worth noting and using in the next gen games. But if you're talking about all 5 3rd gen games in general, then they should keep the Fr/Lg style of font, because after playing them for awhile, then going back to emerald, I noticed emerald's font is Fugly. That help feature was a nice addition as well (again in Fr/Lg). They would be better off using Fr/Lg as templates to the next games then Emerald IMO. ;p
