What do you trade for?

Allow me to explain.
I don't trade just to collect all pokemon, but also to get berries or certain items.Another thing I like to do ( and I didn't see many other people do it) is to ask for pokemon with high IV in certain stats (that's how I got my Houndoom with flawless SpA and Speed).I think this is really useful, because maybe the OT of that pokemon doesn't want to train it :D
And I like to collect many different ID numbers, because a few months ago I finally managed to get to Mirage Island, after years of trying. Also, I hope to win the lottery.

So, I'm curios: do you trade only to fill up your pokédex, or to get stronger pokemons/better items?

PS:Mods, I searched but didn't find a thread like this.If I'm wrong, feel free to kick my ***.

I do it for both, because they could evolve durng a trade.

Since I have no one but myself to trade with, I normally just trade for the Trade Evolutions. Though, I do trade the MasterBall I recieve in each game to the next I play, though there's no point since I never use them. ._.

I also Mix Records, if that counts as trading, for Secret Base EV Training.

I just got today a Starf Berry (the one you get only if you have all the Frontier Badges) in exchange for a good Iv'd Chansey . And I'm already asking around to see if somebody wants a very sexy rhydon I hatched with 30 IVs in Att, and 28 Def.I might get something nice in return :D

Both, Like a trade Snoraunt to fill the pokedex and I traded my Groudon to Emerald for the BF

That reminded me of when I traded my Mewtwo for an Ekans. Just goes to show you that I trade for whatever I need or want at the time. I wanted an Arbok in my team, and Mewtwo would only continue collecting dust in my box, so meh. Traded 8D

Having almost everything, I trade for the lottery and Mirage Island (although I already have the Liechi Berry).

I like to trade mainly for Pokédex completion, although I usually trade with myself. I hope to get to one of the Pokémon conventions this year, I have Liechi Berries and the PokéRus, so I am hoping to trade PokéRus Pokémon that are holding Liechi Berries for some shinies. I don't know if anybody would be willing to trade shinies for PokéRus and Liechi Berries, but I am going to try!!

Me too! Sometimes I trade just to get a certain Pokemon I want to train. I breed that Pokemon(breedable only) with a Ditto so that Pokemon will hatch and have my ID# instead of the other trainers ID#

Tabs The Omnipotent Hamster

And yet, it moves!

I also like traded pokemon because they earn more EXP, and if you give them an EXP share, you can level them up very very quickly ^^

Belgian Waffles!!!
To complete the dex, get rare items such as rare candies or master balls.

All of those, but more for stronger pokemons.
