What happens to the holes?

In the Pokemon anime(no doubt that it happens in others but in different ways) we see many Pokemon use dig and other things that affect the surrounding environment.

But how does the environment cope with all of the explosions, holes, burning forests, destroyed rocks, trees and other things. Pikachu is always shown to be destroying rocks and other things in nature.

So discuss what you think happens to all of these things. Do they get people to go around the world filling in all of the holes?

I always thought to myself it is likely that digtrio and other ground type pokemons owned by the environment responsible characters clean up the mass after it. For ex, when pokm trainers fight in front of pokemon center and leave holes and etc, digtrio owned by pokemon center cleans it up. And for forests etc, either wild or owned pokemons can clean it up.
