What HM's

What HM's your pokemons know? I have taughted them only Fly and Surf, but what about you, guys? I just wanted to ask.

I always teach my water pokemon surf, and have that as the definitive water move for them.

Fly I sometimes teach to a pokemon, but only during the main game. In competitive play I delete it and use drill peck or aerial ace instead~

I just give my HM's to a slave, and then remove them when I no longre need them to make room for new ones.

In R/S/E I always give Surf to Linoone and the other HMs to whatever can learn them. I've started though, teaching only Surf and Fly and only raising 5 Pokémon and leaving the 6th slot free for whatever of the other HMs I need at the time.

Well I have a Wailmer and Tropius learn all 8 HMs in RS. The only real HMs I use in battle are Surf and sometimes Strength. Otherwise, they just rot in my TM Case.

I teach an HM slave for everthing except surf and fly, because they are actually quite good moves. In FRLG I used Paras as a slave, Linoone in RSE and Biidaru in Pearl.

Fly. I just love to move easy.
Unfortunately i forgotten to have a pokemon that could learn it in my emerald team, so i have to carry a flyer.

Often surf, too.

Most of my Water Pokemon know Surf and I have a couple of Pokemon with Fly so I can have easy access to the places.

I don't use HM Slaves often, so just about every Pokemon on my team has had a HM move at one point. I usually remove them after completing the game though, except for Surf.

I always teach one pokemon in my team 4 HM moves...and gives a nickname of "travel"...because I always bring that pokemon with me; like my gyarados(surf,dive,strength,waterfall) and linoone(forgot what the moves are)...hehehe

Surf is really the only HM I would use in a serious battle. The rest I just use when needed to travel.

I actively use Surf, Strength, and Fly. With the rest of the HMs, I just put them on Pokemon that are in in my boxes.
