What if the next group were to be Ash/Brock/Jessie/James?

No new girl, Jessie could be the girl to show off the new contests. Jessie/James could be the anti heros of the group, have different opinions on how to do things but still be apart of the group. They could have some good bonding moments there. This way were used to the group and we'd get some new things happen and contests would still be apart of the show. Plus Jessie/James/Mowth wouldn't get blasted off. And Jessie would be the main girl in Ash group blah, blah, blah. And we could get new villains and better comedy moments. What do yah think?

I wouldn't mind it. I've always loved Team Rocket, for the way they try to do bad, but you can't help loving them. They're goofy but sensitive, and you can tell that they really do have a heart... deep down anyway.

That ruins the show considering how the only reason TR have been around is to catch Ash's Pikachu. Suddenly joining up as if nothing of the past had happened is just plain stupid, OOC and very much of a turn-off.

It'll also get tiring in the long run, no doubt about that. Not that I don't like those few episodes where Ash and co team up with TR in order to solve a problem, but I prefer it to be for those few episodes only.

That would never happen since the female character always proved to be hugely popular, and removing her would alienate more then half of the current fanbase (Girls would have no character to emulate, aside from Jessie, who's a villain. And guys would have no female character... well you know what.) The show would become even more dull boring then Jotho (At least Misty was somewhat mildly interesting.)

So yeah, having that kind set-up would have complete rating suicide. Along with getting rid of Pikachu and Ash.

I don't think it would be a good idea. Team Rocket have been there since the beggining. They're loved as villans, not heroes. It wouldn't work. Furthermore, I don't think they'd even want to be heroes in the first place.

No. Just- no. It would make no sense for team rocket to suddenly go all nicey-nice to Ash and agree to permanently join him on his travels. Team Rocket are the comic relief/villains, that's their roles. Having them team up with the twerps for a few episodes works okay, but not for a whole season.

Besides, where's the fun if Team Rocket's not building ridiculous machines to attempt to steal pikachu? :b

The writers lost it when Brock and Misty were turned into dolls. Their madness is just fun to watch!

I'm sorry guys but I'm just sick and tired of getting used to one girl and than getting rid of her. And I'm really starting to like Dawn/Hikari at least this way we'd know Jessie and have had her forever. About Meowth he'd be on the team too. And we'd get new villains, some thing you guy's tend to complaine about.

I'm not saying that there would be an immediate switch where all of a sudden they say "Oh Ash I want to be your beeesttt frriiiieeend eveeeeer!" But they've paired up in a lot of dire situations. It might be fun to see them pair up for a while.

Exacly what I was thinking, they've been paried up a lot, they've been together since season one. It would be cute if that happened.

That should never happen because that will ruin the storyline of the whole show! Who is gonna be the new Team Rocket and what is the point of Jesse/James joining? Well it would be fun if they combined forces for like one episode, a special, or a movie but for a whole series? I odnt think so....That's my opinion...

Well, it has the two males/two females thing going for it, but that's about it.

For this to happen, Jessie and James would have to give up capturing Pikachu (which in my opinion would only happen if Team Rocket broke up), and then Ash would have to accept them in his group (after 500+ episodes of them tricking him and stealing his Pokemon).

Besides, something tells me that they're gonna eventually become "stale" if they permanently join up with Ash.

But with this idea, we'd have to get rid of Dawn, meaning another girl would leave. I don't see a point in replacing Dawn with a third coordinator. Especially someone who was never really in danger of being gone anyway.

I'd rather just get used to Dawn. (And keep her as the permanent main girl character. Jessie's a woman, to be specific.) I prefered that May stayed the whole time, but with Dawn here, we should just keep her.

We can still have new villians with Team Rocket as enemies (just like with Team Agua and Team Magma).

Why not just throw in Cassidy and Butch in for the heck of it, too? Maybe even Giovanni can join Ash & friends, too! :eek: Giovanni could totally tote an outfit that resembles Damion's from D/P. ADVERTISING!!

MJC CartoGuy Every one becames stale after once in a while, May became stale after a while and probaly Dawn will soon after being there for a while. It happens to every one. Also I have a feeling Dawn will be leaving either way, I like her character I really do but with the way things are going with every girl just tells me not to get used to them for these reasons. Jessie at least stays every season LOL. LOL Super-Staff I suggest James/Jessie/Meowth becuase they've been together since season one have worked together a lot yada, yada, yada.
