People say my team needs a pokemon that can take a hit. I have heard Skarmory, Weezing, and Blissy can.

Would Kabutops be a good Def Wall?

also what other pokemon make good Def Walls? I just want to know so that i pick ones that may have good type differences than the rest of my team.

Btw my team is on the trainer card in my sigy - for stats go to the "My Team ^^" thread, though it is a little outdated...

yeah skarmory is good but idk my team has a serious lightning/rock attack weekness right now, my current thoughts are leaning tward's blissy.....

Blissey is not a good defensive wall. It sucks as one.

Go for skarm. Yes it has an electric weakness but you shouldn't be keeping it in on special attacks anyway. He has a shed load of resistances, 2 immunities, and is just a great spiker/phazer in general.

lol, Blissey Physical Wall!

Skarm is possibly your best bet, but don't overlook my personal fav', Steelix.
-HUGE Defence.
-2 Immunities. Which block Toxic and T-Wave!
-A fair few resistances.
-Phazer.
-Takes a fair few Special Hits.
-Goes Boom when it is done.

So Blissy is not a good idea? because of its atk? but it's sp. atk and hp are incredible........
What about Aggron or Rhydon?

Aargon and Rhydon are more for attacking. In addition to that, they're both weak to fighting (Aargon 4x), which is a pretty common physical type. Blissey has really, really bad defense, and can't really hit back. I'd say go with Steelix.

okay steelix looks alright, though i would rather have aggron...
what about Shuckle? Cloyster? Umbreon?

Umbreon... is more of an annoyer. Same with Shuckle. They can't really give damage back. Cloyster would work. (you could also use it as a spiker)

Shuckle has piss poor hp and can't do any damage. Meaning subs make him cry.

Umbreon doesn't really have the physical resistances that he needs. He can't do any damage,, but is used to pass wishes and traps. Not that good ingame.

Cloyster has bad hp, terrible special defense, and no physical resistances as well as a nasty rock and fighting weakness.

huh, umbreon seemed like it might work when looking at the base stats......
cloyster seemed iffy,
and shuckle seemed unbeatable (except for the poor hp) - untill i saw the move pool, then he looked like crap...you might be able to pull it off but i wouldn't like it

No! Nooo! Not Shuckle. His "uber" defence is killed by his terrible HP and his pathetic attack and movepool.
