I mean how can a nature be beneficial if it either is neutral or it powers a stat and lowers a stat? I looked up the Poke'dex for Charizard and saw it's base, neutral, hindering, and beneficial stats. What IS Charizard's hindering and beneficial nature? I mean, how do I max my stats to exactly what it says in the Poke'dex. Why am I asking so many questions?! I'm sorry, I am a newb at this stuff. I just learned about IV's, EV's, and DV's. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

What it means if if your pokemon has a nature like Adamant (+ Attack - Special Attack) it show you how much it's stats are lowered (which is .9 per level negatively, 1.1 positively).

For a pokemon with very high Attack, like Tyranitar, it is wasteful to give it neutral stats since it makes little use of special attack compared to it's attack stats. Because of this it's better to give it all attack based moves and no special attacks and to make it have a Adamant nature so that it's attack is maximum.

Click on the person you wanna pms avatar(ex:your pic of charizard) then on the right side it will say pm this person.

Certain natrues increase certain stats, like brave increases attack by 10% and a neutral nature does nothing ot the stats and a hindering nature takes away certain ststs.
