What is the Best Season of Pokemon?

My favorite is Kanto followed by Hoen, Battle Frontier dose seem promising though. ;025;

My favorite (of course) is the Orange Island season.

Hoenn was best, in my opinion. Best animation, picture, battles. I love how they use the moves in such unique ways too... like channelling electricity into the ground via Steel Wing. There is also another, obvious reason. - you will not have to look far to find him. ^-^

My favorite was Hoenn but I also liked Kanto and Orange Islands. Kanto had some classic episodes (The Ghost at Madien's Peak) and Orange Islands had some good battling but Hoenn by far was the best, with Team Aqua & Team Magma, Contests, The Grand Festival, etc.

You know, there's a difference between "seasons" and "regions". The way I see it, if we're talking about American seasons (since the Japanese don't have traditional TV seasons like us), they're laid out like this:

Season 1: 1998-1999 ("Pokémon! I Choose You" to "The Breeding Center Secret")
Season 2: 1999-2000 ("Princess Vs. Princess" to "Charizard Chills")
Season 3: 2000-2001 ("Pokémon Water War" to "The Fortune Hunters")
Season 4: 2001-2002 ("A Goldenrod Opportunity" to "Machoke, Machoke Man")
Season 5: 2002-2003 ("Around the Whirlpool" to "You're a Star, Larvitar")
Season 6: 2003-2004 ("Address Unown" to "Watt's With Wattson?")
Season 7: 2004-2005 ("What You Seed Is What You Get" to "Judgement Day")
Season 8: 2005-2006 ("Clamperl of Wisdom" to "Hand-to-Hand Fighting Dojo! Satoshi Vs. Haruka")
Season 9: 2006-2007 ("Psychic Vs. Ghost! Midnight Duel" to ----- )

That being said, I greatly prefer the first season. There's a loose and uninhibited feel to those episodes that I don't think the show will ever get back.

In the anime Kanto destroys Johto and Hoenn in about everyway possible. However, the BF comes close.

I like them all, but I think I like Kanto the most. Possibly Hoenn in second... Dunno.

The Kanto season was the best, Battle frontier and Orange Island come second. Johto was definitly the worst.

Master Quest was the best season ever, and that falls in the Johto region. The episdoes all had something new in them, not just a contest or waste of a gym battle, they all had new characters and new types of epidsodes...

The Johto Journeys hurts Johto severely, thouhg, for all of its trash episodes. Johto League Champions was not much better...Master Quest made up for that...

The first season of Pokemon when they were in Kanto is by far the best season Pokemon ever had. There were no cons about it! None of the other seasons even came close. Everything was better in Kanto. The characters, the Pokemon, the animation, the voices, the writing, everything! There never has been a better season then Kanto, and there never will be!
